I have had my coop 6 months now. I wanted to wait to review it after we had built it and raised our tiny chicks into laying hens, so I could give an accurate review. I can confidently say now that it is by far the best thing I have done in regards to keeping backyard chickens. If you're on the fence about getting one of these... Maybe keeping backyard chickens in an urban/suburban area like me... If so: Just do it. Seriously. Every time I let the chickens out each morning I honestly thank myself for splurging on this thing. I was between a lot of coops, and the XL Round-Top Walk-in was by far the most expensive, but I ended up going with it cause seemed like the best for both me and the chickens. I cannot thank my past self enough for splurging. It's extremely easy to clean. No bending over or scrubbing weird places. When you keep chickens you're scooping a lot of poop. I'm thankful this coop makes the dirty work easy. I live in the pacific northwest, and being able to clean up the coop without being soaked by rain is so worth it. The water and food storage make vacations stress free. We go on long weekends camping and vacationing somewhat frequently. I was worried with keeping chickens I would have to curb my other hobbies, but thanks to this coop I haven't had to do that at all! It has enough food and water for 5 days with our four bird flock. I got the run expansion which gives them enough space while we're gone to not go stir crazy, but keeps them safe. Getting the eggs is easy, and the chickens have used the nesting boxes without issue. Really love how you can collect eggs, refill food and water, all without stepping inside the coop. It makes finding people to chicken sit real easy! No chance of escapees or anyone thinking it's too hard or weird. Just stop by, grab eggs, top off the food, done. The only potential downside I can see to this thing, other than the price, is depending on where you live it might not provide enough warmth in the winter. It's drip free and draft free in that roost, but not insulated at all. I live in the pacific northwest, and it doesn't dip below freezing very often, so for me it's perfect. I could sing this things praises all day. Well worth the money, and by the look of things 6 months down the road, it's going to last a long time!

Love doing business with Roosts and Roots! From on line ordering to the completion of my new standup coup was a great experience. Customer service was exceptional. I put an entire section together incorrectly. The help line politely instructed me how to correct my error and when I shared I was concerned about a knot on the door frame a new door was shipped out and arrived within two days! Love my new coop, loved working with Roosts and Roots, I whole heartedly recommend this company!!

Overall I am happy with the build quality of the coop. However, the instructions provided to build the coop are fairly disappointing and difficult to go through. In particular, they should definitely update the drawings to be more clear and provide more steps in between, especially in terms of getting the orientation correct. Some of the wooden boards were missing the pre-drilled holes which also made it more difficult to build right. Some of the staples that were used to hold the wiring together were also loose and came off.

Let me begin by saying that my new greenhouse looks great! From my first contact through assembly, the customer service teams were helpful, thorough and there whenever we had a question. The greenhouse was well-packed and arrived without damage - and kudos to the delivery truck driver who was able to get up my driveway. Assembly instructions were easy to follow & my 3-person team had the greenhouse built in less than a day. The hardest part is deciding just how I want the inside laid out for the best use of space… Thank you Roost & Root!
