The building of our stand up coop was fun. It took us a bit longer due to rain delays. Our designated spot does have great drainage! We're very pleased with the results. Our 8 week old chickens love the increased real estate.

Having looked at a lot of greenhouse and chicken coop kits online, I wanted to chose the one which looked best engineered for function and aesthetic which ended up being the product from Roost and Root. What made a big difference in my decision was the illustrated directions which gave me a very good idea of the build quality I could expect before purchasing. I got both a slant roof greenhouse with AVM and a round top stand up coop XL version as well as a GrubCone, so the financial commitment was certainly there. I got everything on-schedule via UPS freight and the truck driver even told me this was the 10th or 11th coop he had delivered so far which was cool. All parts fit together reasonably well and although I was short on a a few screws, Dyan followed up immediately and mailed some to me overnight for which I was very thankful. The greenhouse is spacious and the slant roof design is great for allowing me to vertically trellis tall tomatoes on one side, and peppers or shorter climbing plants on the other. The interior dimensions perfectly fits my 20x120" raise beds situated on both long walls. The door is just the right size for an average wheelbarrow. I also really appreciate all the eye-hook door holder hardware and latching locks being included as part of the design. The design itself is modern in engineering yet rustic in appearance, made with quality material and proper hardware spec'd out (for longevity and anti-corrosion properties). I didn't have any dimensional tolerance issues to speak of, and the structure was square from end-to-end. Again, a lot of the features and design decisions just made sense to me, which is why I went with Roost and Root despite everything being almost order of magnitude more expensive than a kit on ebay. I built 100% of the structures myself and while it's do-able for the greenhouse roof section, I would really suggest finding a friend to help with that part. Everything else is easily do-able by yourself. A couple things I would suggest are: 1. Ensure are flat a foundation as possible before starting, or if this isn't possible, be prepared with a lot of wooden shims or bricks to get the footing level. I would almost suggest getting some 2x6 to lay flat as a footing because at least this would allow you to determine the relative flatness of the foundation before starting the build. 2. Use some quick clamps to help hold the panels in place while you drive the deck screws in. This helps ensure the joints are without gaps and probably makes a stiffer and longer lasting structure when all the joints are closed. 3. We put our 2 week old chicks in the roundtop standup coop roost area, and sealed most of the opening with a large plywood board to provide privacy and warmth (with the brinsea heater inside this area too). So far they love it and it really provides a great place for the chicks! If only the coop could be expanded with a run on the backside! Overall I enjoyed the build process and have enjoyed using them as well.

We had a great experience from start to finish!! Our new greenhouse arrived ahead of schedule ( when does that ever happen). They realized right after they shipped we were missed a couple of pieces and they were promptly shipped and arrived ahead of the GH. It was crated perfectly! Nothing broke. R & R followed up throughout the whole process. I hired a finish carpenter friend to assemble, he was totally impressed with the kit!! He’s meticulous , so thats huge! Said he would rate at 5 stars ⭐️ we assembled in less than 6 hrs. Best of all it’s functional and Beautiful! Thanks so much R & R!! I love it..! ❤️🪴

We ordered the raised garden beds. One eight foot and one four foot 16 inches tall. They have worked wonderfully. Our potatoes, carrots squash are doing much better in the deeper beds. We need another eight footer to expand are garden as we can now grow much more efficiently in the deeper beds. Recommend highly.

We now own a chicken coop and covered raised bed from Roost & Root. Both products are fantastic - easy to assemble and very nicely designed. Ordering and delivery were also very smooth. I recommend this company highly.

Lovely coop and even better their customer service and policies are top notch. My coop came with a dented pipe (due to mishandling by shipper) and I called and was told that a replacement would be mailed immediately, which it was. Coop was easy to assemble and looks great. Expensive but worth it.

The Greenhouse is absolutely beautiful. It was very simple to put together, and I was able to easily do it with minimal help. They provided everything I needed, the instructions are clear and simple, and the customer service is stellar. I am very happy with my greenhouse set up and my plants are doing great!

It is a Father's Day gift and he loved it. We ordered the raised garden bed and it was extremely easy to assemble. The quality is excellent and well designed. We have a little wildlife in our backyard and the wildlife cover gate is an excellent addition to protect our future harvest. It looks beautiful and made in the USA. Thank you Roost & Root.

We love this greenhouse! It’s really well designed and just the right size for us. I would have given it 5 stars, but the solar ventilator system arrived in a box that was broken open (we weren’t home when it was delivered) with some screws shaved off and missing. We were able to replace those at a local hardware store. Our friend that helped us put it together had some trouble understanding the instructions, but figured it out. The magnetic screen door will arrive soon and we look forward to putting it up. The folks at Roost & Root were very responsive to our questions. I would recommend this greenhouse - it’s a great addition to our yard/garden.
