We've had our round top coop for almost 3 years. We moved it from Pa to NY on a trailer when we relocated and have now built an attached run. Never any problems with latches of enclosure. It has been preditor resistant to foxes, oppossoms, coyotes, and hawks. I'm sure it will last for many years

I purchased two coops and am very happy with them. The quality is very good on both coops. My only reason for giving only four stars is on the pick up. We live local so I asked a friend to pick the coops up directly for us since we didn’t have a vehicle that could hold everything. We thought both coops would be packed in two kits, similar to the pictures on your website. Instead, all the parts were just stacked in the bed of our friend’s truck. That turned a real mess when we unpacked it at our house - there was no easy way to tell what parts went with which coop. That took extra time when we were ready to build - separating each part ( piece of wood) into a pile for each coop. I am confused why the kits weren’t left combined.
Love this company
Very helpful team as I was inquiring about some of the features of different coops. Also extremely helpful when I lost a part during a storm, and offered to send me a replacement free of charge. Meanwhile, the product itself, the Loft Coop, is wonderful! Lots of space for the girls, well-constructed of cedar, and clear assembly instructions.

We are super excited about our new coop. It is solidly built and a great home for our chickens. Thanks for the great product. We were looking online at different DIY builds on YouTube and so happy we found your website. This coop is so much better than something we would have cobbled together on our own. Frank
Recommended coop!
The coop is high quality and our chickens are happy :) We hired two people to help put the coop together and it took them a few hours. We are super happy with the coop!
Perfect for My Mini Flock
I love my Roost and Root coop. We live in the city and it is the perfect size for my four hens (soon to be 6) It was relatively easy to assemble, easy to clean out and the girls are happy. I added an automatic door and attached it to our existing run. I like that they have a small area under the coop to hang out in bad weather. The removable weather panels are fantastic. I like that I can take them off easily on a sunny day. The feeder is perfect, and I have been experiencing a little bit of trouble with the waterer in the winter, but nothing too crazy. Really happy with the coop.
Best coop kit I have ever seen
Best coop kit I have ever seen! Rugged and very impressed with the craftsmanship. Fairly easy to assemble (ignored instructions and assembled by myself). Clear instructions and superior hardware, with extra pieces! Birds love this. Optional planter now full of organic lettuce. You folks do not oversell, well worth the cost. This coop will last!
Wonderful in Summer, wet in winter
We have a round top stand up coop. Firstly, the set up was a breeze and during summer months we loved this coop... however into the rainy season we have had issues. We noticed the back wall of the coop was wet and the floor soaked. One very rainy day I stood inside the coop to see what was the source of the water. The rain runs onto the outside roof supporting beams and down the beams inside the coop and drips. To keep my poor hens dry I’ve had to lay towels down in the storage area and change them frequently. It’s been a nightmare. My husband even cut back the beams to see if that would help but somehow the design of the roof it still happens. One frosty morning the interior of the metal roof was dripping moisture as well. It’s really been a struggle to keep our hens dry this season. Today was a very rainy day and it’s so moist and wet in the coop. We are so frustrated as we spent a ton of money on this coop, when we wish we had just built something. We built our run and have no issues with leaking. We decided to fashion a tarp over that portion of the roof to hopefully keep our coop dry until we can essentially remodel the roof this summer. It’s disappointing that for the $$$ we spent, we should have to do any alterations.
Awesome! They're like ikea, but for chicken coops!
Great coop! This is like ikea, but for chicken coops! It was easy setup and easy instructions! My only downfall is the weather proofing panels, theyre not sized correctly for quite a few panels and we have had to cut them to fit. Also the little clips fall off if the wind is too strong and the panels fly off. Despite that the coop looks great and the girls are slowly getting used to it and we are learning how to roost!
Great product
Great product. Well worth the price.
