Everything arrived timely and packaged well. It took my husband about a day to assemble (with help here and there). My hens are so comfortable in their new home and best of all they are safe. We got the panels for winter weather which was the deciding factor for choosing this company.

we are new chicken owners and live in an urban neighborhood in nashville. we were deciding between two companies for a small coop for three chickens, and I called roost and root and had a really great customer service experience. I had a LOT of questions about our setup and what to prioritize in a chicken coop and they answered all my questions. we ordered the starter XL coop that day and my husband put it together in a few hours with the help of my 9 year old. its held up great the past few months and my chickens are so happy with great ventalation through the coop and plenty of room. I love the built in food and water system since we travel quite a bit and I know the girls are taken care of. so far no issues with any predators.

I brought the starter coop, and it’s perfect! The product was packaged extremely well. The instructions were detailed, clear, and well illustrated. The starter was perfect for sized for my backyard and 2 chickens.

The kit was easy to put together. I did have a few pieces that were not labeled. It was not a problem thought the construction it strong and the hardware is top notch. Overall a great product.

The coop was fairly easy to assemble and seems sturdy and of good quality. There is a design issue that was a bit frustrating -there is no way to just add soil and plants because the back side is wire and the inside is not flat which makes it difficult to place planters in it, so I have to add a liner and hope that works. I’m still happy with the coop overall and have high hopes for this company which is why I’m still giving it 4 stars.
