They tailored the tour to meet all our needs from excellent travel connections ( private cars everywhere) to very knowledgeable guides who offered more than one opinion of the historic sites we visited. All of the guides had done actual work at the locations they were speaking about which gave us in depth knowledge about their experiences. Our experience working with Selene and the entire team at Inca Expert Travel was incredible. We usually like to plan our own trips but found the logistics in Peru a bit overwhelming and so we reached out to the amazing team at Inca Expert and we were soo happy we did. I do not think anything could have been more perfect or Selene more attentive to our needs. She was a wonderful listener and came up with a fantastic itinerary that incorporated all the highlights we wanted to see over the 11 days we were in Peru. The transitions from one location to the next were seamless and the guides were amazing and soo knowledgeable. We all learned soo much about Peruvian culture, history and nature. Keeping two teenage boys engaged for over a week on ancient Incan culture is a feat unto itself and can show you how amazing the guides really were! Everyone loved Machu Picchu and also the beautiful Inkaterra Resort in Aguas Calientes was a splurge worth taking if you have some time to enjoy the facilities and the tours of the grounds and beautiful orchid garden. The Amazon and the excursions included with the stay at the Inkaterra Conception were unforgettable. We loved listening to the Howler monkeys and seeing the macaw family in the treetops. Seeing all these various species in their native habitats, even 2 different varieties of tarantulas, was so special and so different than seeing the same animals in a zoo. The staff at both Inkaterra locations were amazing and so knowledgable about all the flora and fauna of the area. Everything they shared was soo fascinating. We had a little glitch with one of our rooms in the Sacred Valley and the Inca Expert Team was on it and graciously covered the cost of a wonderful meal in Cusco on our last night, just because they wanted to ensure we had an amazing time and only wonderful memories. I cannot thank Selene and the Team at Inca Expert enough for the many thoughtful pre-trip planning sessions and patiently answering the many questions we had, which helped us have a seamless, perfect, amazing, memory making trip while we were in Peru. It was the first trip I've ever had, in over 35 years of traveling, where I didn't need to stress about anything, everything was just "taken care of". The entire experience was truly magical!!! Our 2-year postponed trip to Peru finally came to fruition in March 2022. It was everything plus more than we had imagined. Liz Sperling, our travel advisor of 2 years, was incredible. Simply describing her in 1 word - AMAZING! She is knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. She created an exceptional itinerary of all the places we wanted to see and do. From our punctual drivers, to our knowledgeable tour guides, our holiday was effortless and worry free. In addition, we received fascinating one-on-one history lessons on Incan culture. Thank you to everyone at Inca Expert Tavel for making our trip so memorable. It certainly was a trip of our lifetime and will fondly cherish all the memories of Peru for many years to come.

If you are going to Peru, I highly recommend you use Inca Expert Travel. After a few telephone calls, they arranged what was the trip of a lifetime for my wife and I and our 2 children (ages 10 and 13). From the moment we landed in Lima to the day we left, we were in good hands with the nicest drivers, tour guides, hotel representatives and Inca Expert Travel personnel. Each hotel we stayed in was amazing. Each stop was highly entertaining and informative. The sights were breathtaking. We truly experienced Peru and its wonderful culture on a personal tour with just our family.
