A great company , my recent order was delayed and l was contacted to say there was a problem ,another parcel was sent out with 1 item missing which was quickly dispatched and arriving today . Customer service is brilliant,always been pleased with things l’ve ordered .

Poor refund service

We ordered through the Tescos marketplace but the item was unsuitable. We contacted Rinkit and raised a refund with Tescos marketplace but neither avenue got us the refund. Rinkit even said they’d refund without returning the item but never did. We’ve given up now. As elderly pensioners it’s not worth the effort or aggravation. We are unlikely to use either the Tesco marketplace or Rinkit for items again.

AVOID THIS DISASTER OF A 'COMPANY! Complete an utter incompetents. Bought 6 packs of glasses and added two packs of coasters to see what they were like. Coasters arrived, but no glasses...the main and top items on the invoice. On contacting them the service got even worse. A complete idiot on their email asking the same questions again and again, even though the questions were being answered every time. The coasters were a disgrace, broken, scratched and chipped. I don't know how many times I had to tell them this, but they seem unable to comprehend basic English. I have insisted on a refund, but even though it is just a couple of pounds, this too has proven to be too much for them to understand. Terrible quality products and run by morons. DO NOT EVEN THINK OF DEALING WITH THIS BUNCH OF AMATUER CHARLATANS !!!

Process More Important than People

I bought quite a lot of crystal glasses from Rinkit. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they were too 'heavy' in their design and the lips of the glasses were too thick. One champagne flute had already broken due to the really poor packaging, ie the cardboard boxes were incredibly flimsy for such items. I tried phoning them on their number and kept getting put on hold, followed by an automated system that says, "Nobody can take your call right now, goodbye" and then cut off. I sent their customer service department an email about returning the glasses as they weren't right and one had broken. They said that the return was at my expense and that they had to be returned in their original packaging and you have to have proof that you sent them by courier. The original packaging was really poor but I repacked them. The boxes were already sagging as there's not enough packaging to keep the internal boxes secured. I was sure something would get broken, so chose to insure them as didn't want to have to pay for damaged items due to poor packaging. Because of the weight and size of the boxes it cost me £22 to return them including the £7.50 insurance. How is this fair? How can you be expected to pay that much to return an item that doesn't suit your needs and then feeling obliged to pay insurance as their packaging is so rubbish. I wrote to them about it. Lauren, the lady at customer service was nice enough, but she's bound by this ridiculous system that is all geared towards the organisation and not the customer. Be mindful that if you purchase anything delicate or heavy, you will have to pay to send it back. There isn't a physical space to view these items to ascertain quality and suitability, so doing business with them will certainly put you out of pocket! Lots of options out there, choose other organisations that are more geared about positive customer experience and fair business practice. They were all about 'can't do' as opposed to 'can do'. These are the bullet points that I sent them about my experience. Since my interaction with this company, the focus has been all about what you ‘can’t do’ as opposed what you ‘can do’. For example: • I can’t return goods to a physical space, they have to be done via a courier or other type of postage service despite it being 1 mile down the road. • I can’t use other packaging to protect the packed items more securely and therefore need to pay insurance to increase confidence of safe arrival in fear of damage • I can’t see the goods displayed to ascertain quality, weight and suitability. I have to have them delivered and then am obliged due to your system to pay for their return if they aren’t suitable for whatever reason • I can’t send you footage of your poor packaging via a phone number as you don’t have one and the file is too big via email • I can’t get through to your telephone line as despite my 4 attempts (using 2 different phones), where you are routed via an automated system, put on hold and then the call is cut out after a recorded message that states, “no one can take your call right now, goodbye”. Just make another choice. You can get all they sell somewhere else!
