The coach trip down was not a good…

The coach trip down was not a good experience we broke down on the motorway and was stuck for 3 hours in a lay-by waiting for breakdown service set up a rolling road for us to get back on motorway to drive down and pull off at services but didn't take the opportunity to re join the motorway because the driver wasn't informed . The hotel was very nice and the rest of our trip went OK 👍

We had a great driver (Paul)

We had a great driver (Paul), he couldn't do enough for everybody. The hotel on the whole was very good with nearly all nice staff. One thing that spoilt it for us was when there was a leak from the room above our bathroom. This was reported to the front desk 3 days running. They said someone would be up to clean the bathroom but nobody ever came. I ended up doing it myself. Also the Christmas lunch was horrible, so I did not eat any of it, All the other meals were good,

The coach only had one driver and I…

The coach only had one driver and I don't think this was good enough. We missed one of our trips due to having no snow tyres or snow chains which is unacceptable in a country known for it's snowfall! The food at the hotel was not up to standard either, I thought it was of a very poor quality and none of it was particularly hot, it was lukewarm at best. This was my first coach trip since I lost my husband and I would certainly hesitate before booking another one.

I couldn't find the room type I wanted on a weekend away.I spoke to an adviser and she was helpful offering advice and making the booking for me including using a current discount code

Christmas on the Costa Brava -JG Explorer

Firstly, I would like to say the outward journey to Spain was pleasant, I did not enjoy the pick up location late at night! The transfer at Dover was well organised. Both hotels we stayed at in France were pleasant, on our arrival to Spain the check-in went well, The rooms were spacious and cleaned very well each day. After reading reviews of the hotel restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised with the food choices They catered for everyone. I the only downside was they should have provided a Christmas hotel itinerary as we almost missed Christmas lunch. We enjoyed day trips to Girona, Barcelona. So the downside that really spoiled our holiday, We paid for the JG explorer to enjoy the nicer perks, which we got out the outbound journey. National Holidays if your are trying to compete with Leger why are you only offering half of a service? On our arrival back to Dover we had to wait for our coach to take us back to our destination. only to be met with a old rickety coach which was filthy it had not been cleaned of litter was crammed and disgusting. What was the point of me paying for the "JG explorer" if I was not going to receive this service though the whole of my trip? Please note - although this was a "feeder service" the JG Explorer was provided from my pick up point to Dover! I have never had this type service from Leger! You really came close National Holidays, but just not enough If you want to keep on par do not cut corners! I would like to thank our coach driver Craig, and Ryan the "trolley dolly" you really made our trip to Spain with your Endless laughter.

There were too many pick ups so we were…

There were too many pick ups so we were on the coach to London for 7 hours. Some people had been on for 10 hours. We had no literary so we didn't know we were getting dropped off in London at 5pm and kot getting pick up until 12 we did not get to check in at the hotel until 1am. It was so tiring just walking around London for 6 hours. Had we know this was going to happen we would have booked a show.

We had a great London theatre break

We had a great London theatre break , our coach driver was excellent very informative and helpful drop off point for theatre was ideal The hotel was excellent it was clean warm check in was quick and we had a breakfast included which again was very good evening you would expect from a top hotel I do have a few silly niggles The coach pick up spot not very clear would be nice to have a small map showing where to catch bus several on coach like my self was waiting in wrong place and we could have missed the pick up if it wasn’t for our driver paitanche etc The other thing was we had a back pack with overnight things in which was stored under the coach when got to hotel got bag out it was wet so we had no change of cloths or night cloths we could wear , it seems coach had a fault /leak but they couldn’t find source of leak but apart from this we had a good break

Christmas in Vienna

great trip, good itinerary, well organised, the two drivers (Clive and Steve) were brilliant from start to finish and the customer service at the hotel in Austria was absolutely fabulous.
