Avoid this company

The company has had the watch for 14 months with no sign of it being repaired or an anticipated completion date. Customer services never return calls when they say they will and provide misleading information. As a company they are disgraceful and insist of payment upfront.

The work done is superb

The work done is superb. Packaging excellent. Would be 5 stars but the work took a long time. Knowing this now however I will know for my next watch I send them that it could be the case. I cannot fault the work one bit so I will be sending other watches to them. Just be prepared for a long wait.

Disappointment after disappointment! 😡

My latest email to Luxury Watch Repairs, after being fobbed off time and time again! This is another of many reviews that I’ve written about this company, since I sent my watch to them, 7 months ago! Check out my reviews and you’ll understand my frustrations. To: luxurywatchrepairs Oh dear! Not surprised! Disappointed as always! Missed another deadline! Once again, you’ve missed your promised deadline. ‘All being well’, will no doubt be your get out line! What’s your Head Watchmaker suggesting now? You advised 7-10 days, 20 days ago! You’ve had my Chopard watch since April! You’ve promised and promised deadlines, and you’ve not achieved one of them. I want my watch back. Regards, one very disgruntled customer, who’s about to write another poor Trustpilot review! —————— Dear Mr Hansell, Order No 54085 Thank you for your patience while I got more information from our Head Watchmaker. He has advised that there was a delay in the completion of this work as he had encountered an issue with the balance of the movement, but that has now been rectified, and the watch is about to enter the testing stages. All being well, we would expect this to be completed and returned to you in the next 7-10 days. Thank you for your patience, and please let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Kind regards, Customer services (+44) 0207 404 3366 Head office & Main service centre Luxury Watch Repairs (LWR)

I may have had my doubts at first but there was no need.

I may have had my doubts at first after I had posted my watch to LWR. Would I ever see it again could I trust the workmanship. I need not have worried. Frequent emails and updates from LWR reassured me. On one occasion I phoned up to check on my watches progress and was reassured by the very helpful customer service team. I have no hesitation in recommending LWR and will use them again. -

Quality watch owner, think TWICE.

Got my Speedmaster back this week after 10 months. Poor communication throughout, I could go on, but all I'd say, if you have a quality watch think very carefully before you send here instead of back to the manufacturer. I'll never use again! Update 31/10/24 I had a personal call today from the MD of LWR to apologise for the delay and service I received. I think this was a decent think to do and appreciate the fact that I have had the call. It has gone some small way to me ever considering using LWR again.

Luxury Watch Repairs have had my Rolex

Luxury Watch Repairs have had my Rolex watch for the best part of ten months for a service and bracelet refurbishment, despite nemerous promises many phone calls and unanswered emails no one can give me an indication of a completion date I find this very frustrating and hard to believe, I have lost total confidence with this company and would not use them again.

Avoid at all costs!!

Avoid at all costs!!! <1* terrible! Service & New strap 12/23 Still waiting 10/2024 !!’ I have had to chase updates constantly in order to get any updates. Fobbed off again & again. Different excuses “Head watchmaker recommends service at Omega.” “Waiting on back order parts” “Let me check your notes” numerous times “ Sorry notes don’t say what parts are needed” “Watch is on bench with watchmaker, I’ll make some checks!” Numerous times from “customer service representatives “ “Watch is on bench with watchmaker” “Watch is going through final checks now.” “Watch is on bench going through final checks , I’ll make some enquiries & get back to you.” “ unfortunately you watch has failed, I don’t have the information as to why, I’ll get back to you.” Official Omega Service centre !!! Ridiculous poor communication, only ever get response when I chase them. Paid £864 for service & new strap initial contact leaving watch with Company 17/12/2023. Still without watch or service/ repair 25/10/2024!!! Wish I had read the <5* reviews before using Luxury Watch repairs. If I could leave a zero star review I would. Read the reviews ! I am not alone. Absolutely disgusted at unprofessional response & apparent lack of competency. Avoid !
