Lara was extremely pleasant, understanding and helpful. She was very easy to talk to and stayed with me until the issue was resolved. If Flogas want to improve then Lara should be paid more before another company (rival company) offers her more than you are paying her.

Beware! Can't cancel during the cooling off period,

On the 18th April, someone called to the house and I signed up with Flogas, but on the 24th SSE offered me a better deal so I decided to stay with them. At the end of the call they transferred me to FloGas cancellation team to cancel the order. That should have been it, right. On the 30th I called FloGas and the order still wasn't cancelled. So I told them again to cancel the order. Then I got an email from FloGas asking if I also wanted to cancel the Gas order. It was a duel fuel deal, of course I did. So I replied to the email. 3rd May SSE tells me they are still waiting for the cancellation message from FLoGas, so I called them again. She said they didn't get any emails from me and Gas still wasn't cancelled, then she asked for a gas reading so they can send me a bill. When you change your mind everything should have been undone, and you are back with your old provider. No harm no foul. I don't know whether it is sheer incompetence or intentionally malign but I am still waiting for them to resolve the issue. Update: 7th May, still not resolved. Sent a detailed email last Friday with all the previous emails attached as proof. Still no response, no phone call, no reply to my emails.

The rudest team of customer care I have ever encountered. Absolute pigs! Very happy to take a sale from me but nothing short of useless after that. The customer care team are beyond rude! Shouting across me without giving me a chance to speak or explain my issue. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Very bad experience

One of the agent from Flogas visited my place in Dundalk with a fixed tariff plan to switch. As my contract with SSE was going to end on 21st April, I was ok to switch as soon as my contract was over. Because the agent forgot to mention the switch date, my contract with SSE ended before period and my final bill from SSE had early termination charges 50 euro per fuel. I called Flogas, they were ok to cancel my service immediately but then I had to go back to SSE. Now I cant switch to any other service provider as the policy is to stay for atleast 20 days if I go back to previous provider. Now I have to stay with SSE on higher rates as my contract is over. Ethically they should have compensated for this. But no one wants to take the responsiblity of this mistake. They just canceled my plan and now its the customer look out to sort the bills and everything. Very disappointing and I will never recommend flogas to anyone Today's Date : 7th June 2024 After over a month and so called apology reply here that an investigation will take place, I am still waiting for a call from flogas. Please do let me know the outcome of your so called investigation when it is complete. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me, be it after a year or a decade later. I will still be using same contact number and email. Thank you P.S : I paid my bill to SSE at full unit rates because I had to stay with them for over 20 days after Flogas blunder of early termination of contract with SSE. Now I am with Electric Ireland. I am still hoping that some day I will definitely receive a call from flogas.

Lara - Customer service experience

Spoke to Lara on the phone about a very minor charge on our latest bill that I didn't understand. She was incredibly nice, funny, and helpful. She explained the charge to me very clearly so I understood. Fantastic customer service experience, give that woman a raise.

Knowledge is a great Asset

I dealt with Kenneth this morning on a problem I had with my electricity bill. I found him very knowledgeable on all matters of my issue and was very polite on the call. It makes life easier on a damp wet day.
