The best alarm company I have ever had

The best alarm company I have ever had. Punctual and professional courtesy service. Whenever there is an alarm monitoring station gets back to me in under a minute. Rates are very reasonable. Up to the present time they have an impeccable record and I will not hesitate to recommended them.

Inflexible, uncaring company

Inflexible. We are moving out of the country and were willing to keep our service...even EXTEND our service, but we asked that the video monitoring be turned off. Don't want renters thinking we can spy on them. Plus, we wanted to reduce the amount of financial obligations we had in the states. But Vector wouldn't budge. Wouldn't allow us to extend our contract (making MORE money off us then they would have in the long run). They simply do not work with you. After dealing with pushy sales people and then this, it simply isn't a good experience. I do not recommend Vector.

25% increase in price of contract

The remotes don't work. I am still angry that you changed the contract with no warning and raised my price after 8 years all of a sudden by 25%. No improvement or increase in service, just a big hike in price.

Faith in Vector Security

I have complete faith that Vector Security has my home covered regarding fire and theft. That stand behins what they create and are a phone call away when I have a question. I highly recommend.

Service tech came out to look at broken …door connection.

Service tech came out to look at broken connection and said that he did not have part on truck and would return. Still waiting after several weeks. Have not heard back or received any calls about when they would be back.

The monitoring service is top notch

The monitoring service is top notch. The customer service leaves much to be desired. I've been trying to get issues with my system worked out for months without success. Both front and back door chime with the same "front door" alert. The front door locks stopped working about 3 months after being installed. Tried using the battery replacement instructions to correct the issue, still didn't work and can't get anyone on the phone to come out or walk me through how to fix the issue. Had to remove some services from my plan (Air conditioning controls). Not sure if that was an included service or if I'm paying extra for something I'm not using. Can't get any one on the phone to answer my questions or to request a maintenance visit.
