Alarm signal at central monitoring

Central monitoring called me while I was in the bathroom. I called back within a minute and they had already called the police. I was told there was a signal that they could not identify. I told them I was in the house and the panel was a steady green. While speaking to them the police showed up and were not happy that I was home and they were called. I asked central monitoring to figure out what was wrong and call me back. They never did. Therefore, I am not pleased at all. In addition, they left a message on my backup's number. Whoever made the call to them they had to listen to the message several times as the person was inarticulate.

Very good reliable company

They make promises that they keep. Appointments are on schedule, and their personnel are knowledgeable, and explain clearly what they are going to do. My experience with the entire process form appointment, to completion is perfect. You can use Vector in total confidence of a job well done.

The real experience

Our system usually works quite well. There have been a few alerts on our system that read "system failed". Not a comforting thought as you about to go to bed for the evening. The price is consistent with a bonus for each new referral that signs up for service.

I have had Vector Security for many, many years and have never had the first complaint against their services.

I enjoyed the service call.

Several of my door magnets were broken, wobbly or just not functioning. Your technician identified the problem and fixed it quickly--he even allowed me to follow him around and ask stupid questions. And to provide icing on the cake, he made sure to replace the black devices with white ones, matching the color of the door trim. All in all, the experience was pleasurable.

Very disappointed in Vector service

According to Vector, there alarm must sound for 30 seconds or more before the police are summoned. This is enough time for an intruder to enter the house, and cause great harm. Neither the service nor the customer support are worth the cost.

A Responsive and Excellent Security Partner

We have used Vector for almost 20 years. They provide security to my home and my office. They are very responsive, contact us immediately for any issue that might arise. When someone enters my home and does not turn off the alarm properly, usually a contractor with permission, I am alerted immediately. Luckily there have been no break ins, but when a malfunction occurs, they are right on it. We do not have Vector Security in our second home in MD. They are not around, here. We do wish we had them in MD also.
