vector isn't what you may want in a system to protect your home or buissiness

I've had problems with the door locks, a crappy camera that don't stay focus or set, I've had more service people trying to fix their system, Besides the sales represents no longer work for them and stuck me into a 5 year contract that gives me no lead way or feeling secure in my home, I'm a cancer patient, paraplegic, and lives with my wife. A customer affairs rep. Michelle, though nice offer to knock off ten dollars, I settled for the camera to feel more secure in my home. I see other systems that is offering better system & service then I'm getting from Vector, I really want out of the contract because the rep that wrote the contract lied about my options. He just wanted the sell and the money.

Anticipated follow-up didn't occur

I have no substantive complaints at all. But here is one anecdote: the alarm went off at my house and I didn't hear it -- sound didn't travel as far as my bedroom. Vector representative said she would let Vector know that I probably need another alarm added to my system, but I never heard back from Vector on this. Admittedly, I may have misunderstood her intentions, and admittedly I could have -- and should have -- called Vector, But I'm reporting this because it was a missed opportunity to improve my service. Perhaps this review will prompt follow-up action.
