They bribed me too take down my review…

They bribed me too take down my review and failed too fix my car as promised. My first repair was a six hour labor job, rack and pinoin. It wasn't finished for five weeks due to Concord. Second repair, alternator. Took two weeks without my car.. Third repair, the alternator they sent failed. It sitting in the dealership for the past eight plus weeks, and they still won't let the dealer fix it. The part hasn't arrived yet, 8 weeks so far. I'm still waiting for parts from Concord. They seem to always buy the cheapest parts available. Buy the way, I told them what the problem was. As I was an ASE Certified Master Auto Technician, they had me pay the dealer to diagnose it anyway. They didn't believe me. They don't care about their customer's needs. Every time I call, they put me back on hold and hang up on me. It's not worth buying insurance from this company.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If i could give 0 stars I would. I purchased my "premium" plan in November 2021 for $2073.00 on a 2017 MKX. Last December my local Ford/Lincoln Dealer found a needed repair and attempted to call them for almost 2 weeks, continually being told they would get a return call. Finally they did speak with a representative who denied the claim, without an explanation as to why it was denied. Now this dealer has decided they will no longer work with this company. Therefore, I attempted to contact them to say i wanted to cancel my policy as the dealer I take my car to would not honor my warranty. After several phone calls, I spoke to someone who said they would give me just $1000 back, and I should receive this in 30 days. It is now 3 months later and no refund. I again have been attempting to contact them by phone and several emails, and still not response. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Customer Update Opining Concord Auto Protection

First an opine regarding a very questionable website's reviews (CarWarrantyReviews.com... which by the way would NOT let me post this review) that appear to be dated in some kind of chronological order all having high (3) 4 Star, (18) 4.5 Stars, (69) 5 Star rated reviews. 🤔Concord has been a horrific experience since purchasing this 5 year, bumper to bumper, $0 Deductible, Platinum policy in 09/2019. Ran and controlled by Michael Solomon (title unbeknown to date as Concord states as of 03/22/24 (know because of another current long ongoing claim) management is being restructured and are untouchable: you must submit an email request to the management board to even get consideration to have a conversation with any management personnel) who "seemly" runs employees as a strict totalitarian leader with apparent explicit instructions to refute all outsourced professional service advisors who don't agree with Concord's cut cost agenda at the customers expense. "Our" handful of claims have repeatedly been a "foot to the throat" tactic towards our various mechanical institutions who are forced to use cheap aftermarket parts, make serious service hour billing cuts to fit an outdated software program used by Concord in this current expensive recessed economy to low ball currently priced service fees, (ie... after obtaining a claim number, service center is mandated to take necessary "TIME" to make diagnostic inspections to validate repairs but at "no charge to Concord" even when the inspection IS related to covered failure .... but the inspection fee "is chargeable to the customer" if Concord deems the inspection fee falls outside a covered failure).... with many days wasted by Concord advisers... (who by the way are not allowed or given outside communication abilities to "speak" concerning any escalated issues with/by customers)....not resolving claims with no rental cars granted after days and weeks (# of hrs needed to repair vehicle must exceed 8 hrs+ respectively for days allowed for rental reimbursement). Concord uses this standard not to pay car rental reimbursement; howbeit actual rentals would not be necessary if Concord actually processed claims expeditiously rather than dragging their feet and balking on repair coverages. (We actually sent a copy of our contract back to them, highlighting coverage responsibilities for them and for the customer and they still refuse to honor their responsibilities but make excuses and twist the written black and white lettering to their narrative) People you have a choice to choose any auto warranty company out there BUT if you want a hassle free experience, quality service and parts for repair, expedited time line for repairs, honor and respect for the customer AND the service technician repair sites ....THIS COMPANY IS NOT A CHOICE you "may" want to consider. I can honestly tell you from experience of our and our repair facilities repeated issues after issues with Concord Auto Protection. I have so much I can say and want to say but we all can agree this has already been an extra long review without even getting into all the specific details. As a consumer it is my opinion, I am fed up with this kind of unchecked bait and switch advertising, shady shenanigan business practices. Trust but verify folks, make sure it's a quacking duck and not a duck call used to bait your unsuspecting pocketbooks. I tell the truth and lie not that I was already warned by Michael Solomon last year, 01/23 of his distain for me after posting a truthful negative Google review regarding these apparent still ongoing practices.

I paid the premium of 2400 dollar and after 3 years when I went to fix the car they were giving me run around for 3 month. The customer service are very rude, they gave a run around too dealer too. I have all the proof and after 3 month they said they gonna pay the dealer in installment.

First claim experience is horrible

I just made my first claim and I have yet to get the correct claim number, nor will anyone help me do so. It's undeniable that they are unwilling to look at the claim based on other information such as name and VIN; which one would think would be a more reliable method. That said, no one speaks english as a first language on the claims side and they have hung up on me several times and continually put me on hold. I do not recommend at all.

So very disappointed.

So very disappointed. I purchased a Concord Auto Protect plan for my husband's vehicle in 2023. I had read good things and while the price was a little high it seemed worth it. The sales person was helpful, professional and courteous. In fact, when that vehicle was totaled a week later, they seamlessly let me just swap vehicles on my policy, for the one that we got to replace it. I couldn't have been happier. Unfortunately, the sales experience does not translate to the service experience. Per the contract, "claims are limited to being initiated by you, and not various repair facilities working on your vehicle". However, when I called in the claim, I was told the repair facility had to call it in. No one would even address that this violated the contract terms as written. When I tried to point out what the contract said, I was rudely told they didn't know how the contract was written, they just needed the repair shop to call it in. I got the repair shop to contact them, and the repair shop faxed over the information requested. This all started 10 days ago. I still cannot get anyone to respond and I have a dreadful feeling they are just planning to reject the claim for some reason or another, even though the failed part is clearly listed as covered in the terms of the contract (which apparently doesn't mean much). I called at the beginning of this week and was told someone would get back to me by the end of the day. I called two days ago and was told I would hear by Friday. Today is Friday and still nothing. I also just found out they are in Pennsylvania, which is a 3 hour time difference, so when I called today they were closed. Now I am stuck waiting until Monday to continue this run around. All the while our vehicle remains in need of a repair that we are told is a safety issue. I spent over $2,000 on this policy, I do not want to pay out thousands more on a repair that per the contract should be covered by this "investment" in piece of mind to protect against expensive future auto repairs. I very small part of me is trying to remain hopefully that in spite of the delay, they will step up and fulfil the contract and cover the repair. If that happens, my rating would go up to 3 starts, but I think that's unlikely. As I re-read other reviews it seems all the positive ones, like me, are based on the sales experience. Now I feel very foolish for being conned by them. I am sad to say that right now I strongly recommend avoiding Concord Auto Protect. The only auto protection plans that ever seem to be worth it are the ones sold by new car dealerships, even on their used cars. I have never had an issue with one of those policies. All of the after-the-fact and used car lot plans seem to be like this one....not worth the paper they are written on.

Great experience!

My first policy with Concord Auto Protect on my 2013 Subaru Forester was in March 2021. My one claim was handled with no problems. I had no hesitation in renewing my policy again. The representatives that I dealt with were very professional and not overbearing or pushy. The new policy gives me the peace of mind that I was looking for.

Great company with unbeatable prices! Signed up my 2019 BMW X3 for the Concord Premium coverage plan which is the top plan that they offer and only payed $2,100.00 for 5 years of coverage, and am looking forward to using the service when my car will need a repair.
