Never do business with Concord again.

I wish I saw these posted reviews before I purchased a warranty from Concord. All the negative reviews that I just read are SPOT ON! When I finally had a claim with Concord NO ONE WOULD SPEAK TO ME OVER THE PHONE. Only e-mail and it took days at a time before they replied to my emails. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I have had with a company. I pay thousands of dollars for a warranty and when it comes time for them to cover my car they basically altered everything. They won’t allow car rentals, even though it says they will in their contract. They wanted to use multiple replacement parts from a junk yard car that was in a huge fire. The parts had over double the miles on them than my car. And other repairs that were needed they would not cover. So after what they paid for, and after 4 months of having no car to drive, I had to pay $3,600 out of my pocket to get the car up and running. They would only pay for two junk yard parts and not the all the repairs needed to have the junk yard parts work. In other words, if I just repaired the car with the 2 junk yard parts, it still wouldn’t work and they didn’t care. It was an utter embarrassment on Concords part. It lasted over 4 months because it took a week at a time for them to return an email. And if you had multiple questions in an email they only answer one at a time and thrn you had to resend the questions and wait another week for next reply. Use Carshield, All state, Geico or anyone else. It is well worth it to pay extra and get a better company. So with the amount of money I had to put out to get my car repaired PROPERLY and the money I spent on the warranty, I was out almost $6,000. The only employees you can speak to in person are sales people (of course). You have to e mail all other employees. I asked to get the email address of managers, partners, CEO or owners and all my requests were denied. They said I can’t contact them. Go online for yourself and see that there is no company info at all. Stay away, as I am out almost $6,000. Read all the reviews in full, as I wish I did before I paid so much for so little.

False Advertising and Frauds

I went with this company because of their great ratings a few years ago (2021). They do not honor valid claims or try to ignore your calls and emails in the hopes you will go away. I put in a claim for a part associated with the "Differential Assembly", the Electronic Coupling Assembly which is attached to the AWD assembly. They said that it's not covered and offered me a $250 credit for being a customer. This is a $3,200 job and clearly if you cover the AWD system and the Differential Assembly (which is an included part) it should be covered. When you finally get a hold of a person and you ask to speak to a supervisor they put someone on the phone who when you ask them if they are a supervisor are hesitant in saying yes which makes you believe they are not. They are a scam!!

Still hoping its a misunderstanding

After my experience, it’s alarming how many bad reviews I’m running across. I don’t like giving negative reviews but after my 2 experiences that have both been negative, I figured I’d put this out in hopes that I may be contacted by someone who can help me understand, and provide some clarity. My first experience filing a claim wasn’t good, but I chalked it up, giving the company the benefit of the doubt. My car was about two years old and the GPS navigation screen started flashing and doing weird things on the display screen, and when I plugged my phone into the USB port, it would no longer charge or read my phone. The dealership said they needed to replace the GPS Nav component, but Concorde would not honor this because they described it as a radio issue which is not covered. Not to mention, GPS is included in my coverage but I didn’t want to be that guy, so I left it alone. To add a positive to this, I believe Concord paid a very small amount towards the repair and that was very kind of them. Very much appreciated. That experience happened a couple years ago. Recently, one week ago, I put in another claim because my engine was overheating, and my coolant kept emptying out without a trace of leakage under the hood or on the ground. I also asked to update my address in the system because you cannot do that on your own online and because I’m in the military, I move frequently. After a week went by I called (today) to ask if they had a status. Connor, who said he’s a supervisor told me in his words, “first of all updating your address is not a claim and second of all we don’t cover fluid problems.” After discussion, he was very rude and short with me from the beginning, even though I remained polite to him, he told me “let me simplify this for you if you want to file a claim, then you need to email us not go through the website claim process because we don’t always see it.” After this, we had a lot more discussion, he continued being rude, ultimately telling me that in the future, I need to just bring my car to the shop, give the shop my policy number and have them email Concord. After this, and further conversation about why this is different than the instructions I was previously given, also, there’s a claims request section on the web when I log in, I said I understand, and I asked for a manager. That’s when he told me a he’s a supervisor, so I asked, may I speak to someone above him, when he said he would forward me I asked for a phone number in case we get disconnected, and he said 801. When I asked him for the whole phone number he told me it’s the same number I just dialed with extension 801. Then, he hung up on me. At this point, I’m doing whatever I can to reach somebody above his level to have a conversation about this, and to better understand the claims filing process.

This company is a complete scam please…

This company is a complete scam please stay away I made a mistake by choosing them after several calls to me I was denied a claim for my 2018 Ford Explorer that has 40000 miles and a Failed water pump according to the dealership that is a new diagnosis and have never had issues with anything regarding this SUV and have all the paperwork to prove it The dealership even stated that and they gave me copies of everything for legal action. Concord was aware this is my 4th vehicle and I only drove it about 50 to 100 miles per month after 300 plus miles I noticed something wrong so I took it to the dealership stated water pump failed new diagnosis never had issues before with this suv. So Concord denied the claim against the papers the dealership submitted stating no previous issues. Then they say I don't drive it enough to give them aproval the failed water pump that it must be existing. The service dept stated that their excuses were ridiculous and they kept changing their response I've contacted BBB and FTC and I am preparing a lawsuit because its the principle and integrity of the matter i don't want other customers to be taken advantage of. Stay clear don't listen to their fake positive reviews they are a complete fabrication. Thank God I did not add my other 3 vehicles which I had planned to do once their warranties expired . Only their sales dept will stay in communication with you just try to keep in touch when you need them ,I'd give them a zero rating if I could

This is better called scam warranty

This is better called scam warranty! I and highly reputable auto shop have been trying to get them to pay for failed parts that are clearly listed on the policy and they not only refuse to cover any of them (making stupid excuses) but they refuse to have the adjuster pick up the phone to call the shop... The adjuster says "sorry I don't have a landline to make outbound calls). They supposedly supervisor also refuse to make any calls or get on the phone. I have bought and paid for "premium" coverage for over $2590 and they've haven't paid any cover repairs at all. Now I'm going to have to sue them and report them to BBB and consumer affairs. Don't do business with the thieves!

Don’t fall for the fake reviews on here…

Don’t fall for the fake reviews on here , this is a pretentious company just selling insurances and making money , they claim to have your claims approved but when you connect with your body shop they have not received any communication from concord , it’s been 10 days I am struggling to get a simple claim processed via Concord , please note I am a premium customer , when you call them they just take your name and number and promise to resolve it , but story continues with no response , also note they are closed on weekends so they pretend they are open but planting executives who take your info name number and say hey you will be contacted next day , come next day nothing happens , I strongly suspect this company is a scam operation they take money pass few claims manipulate google reviews , sales team promises a lot but when it comes to real approval on claims that’s where real service comes into play no response no communication, no tracking of your claim via their website , when a body shop submits a claim it should be reflected on their website but nothing no way to track it , if this company is really legitimate then this is fairly easy to implement given they are insurance company and claims are made so customer can track them .

they should to be shut down for fraud

We purchased a used auto warranty for our 2018 Dodge ram 2500 diesel. April of 2021 with gene Harris and his exact words said this is a bumper to bumper policy like a brand new car and it was good for a 156000 miles or 2026 whichever expires 1st, So we purchased the warranty for $3100 a year .and 10 months later, we were having problems with the truck. We asked them to check the injectors as the engine was missing, when they check the injectors they all failed .Those are listed on our warranty and concord as of todays date has only offered to pay $500.00. All parts per our diesel mechanic, states these are all on the warranty. I have called them every single day for more than 2 weeks and keep getting no straight answers. this is fraud. after filing the claim they cancelled my account, kept my money and never paid the claim. The above was files over a year ago. after researching this company , There is no business in the entire state by that name. I have since reported them to sec of state , BBB, state revenue office etc. to go after them. ALSO THE 1150 1ST AVE #501 KING OF PRUSSIA PA IN NOTHING BUT A MAIL BOX in a office complex. companies like this should be prosecuted . Have not had to file a claim 3 years…

Have not had to file a claim 3 years into our contract with Concord. We purchased because factory warranty expired on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, 52,000 mi. A word of advice to anyone considering any warranty co. Make sure you are absolutely committed to maintaining your vehicle in accordance with manufacturers specs. and be sure to have receipts and explanation of work performed. If you live up to your obligations under the terms of your policy you will have a better chance of getting your claim paid. jmho
