Awesome customer service - really helpful staff that were more than willing to assist with any query. I purchased an e-cargo bike through the Energy Savings Trust loan fund and the Surge staff assisted with the application evidence which helped speed up wait times. The bike arrived in good condition, delivered on a pallet, and has been thoroughly enjoyed since! I chose the Tern QuickHaul which enables me to shuttle my toddler to and from nursery. A great positive of Surge Bikes is that they give you 10% of the bike value in free accessories - so useful when purchasing a cargo bike (or any others for that matter!). Brilliant bike that comes with integrated front and back lights - the only thing I had to purchase was appropriate gear and a decent bike lock. The Bosch power pack seems great and came with lots of information and specific keys for the pack. After around 10 hours of battery use, at the first or second level of assist, only 1-2 bars have reduced so haven't had to charge it yet. Super happy - thank you!

I recently purchased an EMTB from Surge Bikes. After riding for less than 100km, the rear freehub ratchet started binding. I phoned up Surge Bikes, explained the situation and was expecting them to ask me to bring the bike in and they would look at it at some point and I would be able to pick the bike up maybe a week or two later. I was very surprised that they offered for one of their mechanics doing deliveries to come collect the bike within a few hours. Christopher arrived, picked up the bike and indicated that he would be doing the repairs. I was even more surprised when I received an email the following day asking if they could come deliver my bike after having found the problem and fixing it under warranty. Thank you Christopher for your speedy turnaround on this repair and to Surge Bikes for doing a pick up and drop off. Really impressive after sales service!
