Excellent part exchange price
My review has been downgrade from 5☆ to 2☆ and from 2☆ to 3☆. Please read till the end to find out why. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. One of the best experiences we've had when looking for a car. We were looked after very well by Matt. He kept us informed & up to date on how the prep of my car was going and he was on hand if I had any questions. I am very pleased with my car, but, it had no parcel shelf, which we weren't made aware of when we viewed the car because it was pouring with rain & didn't open the boot. Also we weren't made aware of it when collecting the car. We went to collect a parcel shelf about a week later, but it didn't fit. We were told not to worry, if Bravo Autos couldn't get one, they'd buy a replacement for us. 5 weeks on & many many phone calls later, I still don't have the parcel shelf &, eventhough each person we spoke to promised to get back to us, not one phone call was returned. This means nothing can be left in the boot. And the saga continues. We recommend Bravo Autos to some friends & family who we knew were looking for a car. We've now told them not to bother because of the lack of after sales service. They want your money & don't want anything further to do with you If there's an after sales problem. As of 23rd April and a few more phone calls, we eventually got the parcel shelf but only because my husband was in the area and willing to collect it in person from the Bravo Autos Warrington branch/showroom.
Financially broke
We bought a car from Bravo Auto Cannock branch at the end of July 2023 Mercedes E350 Estate. At the time of purchase we noticed that the fuel flap was loose and Bravo Auto agreed to book this in for replacement in the following few weeks. A couple of weeks later we took the vehicle back for this to be replaced and also mentioned to them that the boot struts needed replacing after having it fall on our head multiple times on those few weeks of ownership. We were grateful that Bravo Auto replaced both the boot struts and the fuel flap for free and listened to our complaints. All was going well for another few weeks until we had the engine light come on. We called Bravo Auto back and booked it in for diagnostics where we were told that the seals around the turbo needed replacing and the cool side of the turbo casting needed to be replaced. These were all replaced for free. We went to collect the vehicle for a second time and on the way back I noticed that the engine light was still on. As I was collecting this on my lunch break from work and got dropped off to collect by a family member, I was unable to drive this straight back to Bravo Auto at the time. As soon as I got home, I called them back to report this issue and they apologised profusely and asked us to take the car back for a third time. As you can imagine at this point I've had to rely on other family members to keep taking me to and from the garage as this is our only vehicle. I agreed to take it back the following day and they confirmed the mechanics just hadn't reset the light after undertaking the work. I drove it home and assumed that was the last of our issues. After approx. 5-6 months of ownership (about 1500 miles later) the car decided to go into limp mode and wouldn't work properly, shortly followed by yet another engine warning light. At this point the Cannock branch of Bravo Auto had closed, the nearest one was Derby which was currently shut due to flooding which meant the nearest open branch was Crewe. As this was too far for me to take the car for diagnostics I rang them up and they confirmed I could take it to any VAT registered garage. I took it to my nearest one and they diagnosed a fault with the "Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor". We paid £60.00 for them to diagnose this which the warranty wouldn't cover, and due to the garage wanting to charge £120 to get this replaced we decided to buy the part ourselves and a friend of ours that owned a garage replaced this free of charge - it was a quick 5 minute job. We thought replacing this part had fixed the issue, we only really use the car on weekends (or if I'm ever due in the office for work maybe 1 or 2 times every few weeks) however about a month later car went back into limp mode on the way down to a friends 40 mile away from home - we broke down and the engine light came back on making us pull over on the M5 in the hard shoulder. We managed to limp to the nearest services where we rang the garage we'd took it to first time around and asked their advice to which they said at that point they would recommend us taking it to Mercedes directly. Following that advice I checked with Car Care Plan to check it would be ok, to which they confirmed it would be fine to do so. We limped to the nearest Mercedes garage down in Worcester where the car was with them for a week. Our friend was kind enough to drop us back off home. During that week we were informed by Mercedes that the subframe on the vehicle was rotten and had a 2 inch hole in it - I have the video they sent as proof when they do a free health check over the car. They advised this wouldn't have passed an MOT and wouldn't rot within 6 months of ownership and also found the turbo pipe to be leaking slightly. However I had Bravo Auto management tell me point blank that it wouldn't have been there when it was MOT'd and because I couldn't prove this, I had no argument. They advised they could get it replaced for free due to Mercedes knowing about this issue on these vehicles but I would just have to pay approx. £50 for replacement bolts etc. In regards to the loss of power issue and it being in limp mode, they advised that after 1 hour of diagnostic, they believed it to be due to a missing jubilee clip around the turbo pipe which we believe would have been missed by Bravo Auto when replacing turbo seals/casting just months prior. They rang Car Care Plan and they advised that they would cover £181 of the £230 bill but I would have to pay it and claim it back - so I did. I put the claim in on 4th March and to date am still waiting for it to be refunded. I have provided you with all invoices I have received to date. Car still isn't fixed and now back at Mercedes and left without a car. Only done 3000 miles in this vehicle. I've spent a good 10-12 hours on the phone already in the past few weeks talking to either Bravo Auto staff, Car Care Plan, Mercedes, Toyota Financial Services and now the FCA.
Oustanding service
I was buying online from Glasgow. Dave Sherwood of the Warrington branch was my salesman. I was trading in a mini cooper s convertible and buying a used (beautiful) re BMW 2 series convertible. In the first place the pricing of the BMW was competitive compared to others on Auto Trader. Secondly there was no quibbling about the value of my mini. Dave sent me a series of videos of the BMW and also videos describing the different types of warranties. I had mild anxiety having not seen the car live but it was delivered to me (free of charge) in pristine condition. Throughout the transaction Dave was attentive, patient and professional. He fielded my many questions skilfully and often sent a video to expand on his answers. He was also very friendly and enthusiastic about both the cars which makes the whole buying experience more enjoyable. Dave completely turned the stereotype of shifty second hand car salesman on its head. An excellent service which I would use again and recommend to anyone. Sunny in Glasgow today (unusually( so the roof is down.

I recently purchased a Peugeot 2008 from Michael Swiderski at BravoAuto in Warrington. From initial contact to picking up the vehicle, Michael couldn’t have done more. I suffer with a mental health condition and Michael went out of his way to make me feel at ease and even asked me if there was anything he could do to make my visit easier for me. The price of the car was competitive and we got a good price for our part exchange. Dealing with Michael was easy, he wasn’t pushy at all and went out of his way to make sure the vehicle was ready when we could attend. We have only had the car a few days and so far so good, a lovely vehicle. Thank you to Michael for making the process easy. Mark
