Great service and experience

I bought a car from BravoAuto, Warrington in January 2023. I called the office and spoke to Scott, who worked with me to get the best car, and deal for me from beginning to end. I was able to part exchange my old car with BravoAuto who gave me a very competitive price for it. Communication was excellent, and I am very happy with my new car. even a fortnight on, when I called with a query, everyone remembered me.

They sold me a shed!

I now always make sure to tell everyone who tells me they are looking for a new car to avoid Bravoauto and Inchcape like the plague. Bought my Ford Fiesta in December 2022 unseen from Bravoauto Bolton, collected the car on the 17th December 2022 and immediately had to return the car due to an issue with the gearbox. After a couple of hours on site and a brief look at the vehicle the technician expressed that he didn’t want me to take the vehicle for safety reasons and apologised expressing that the fault should have been found when they did the multipoint check. I ended up taking the car I was part exchanging as they had no courtesy car available and was in this until the 11th of May 2023 when I was finally able to collect the car, during this time I was barely contacted, I’d try and call and get told I’d receive a call back but never did. When they would contact me, they would tell me the car was booked in on x date and then a few weeks later after not hearing anything, I’d contact them to be told it’s still waiting to be fixed or they are waiting for such a part. I was eventually told it was booked in at the local Ford dealer to be fixed, a week past by I decided to contact the Ford dealer directly to see if it was there or had been in as I had been made promises that hadn’t been met, they told me the car had been in, but only for an inspection and not the repair like they had stated. I was told that the car would be having repairs done at Ford so that the gearbox itself had a warranty on it for my piece of mind if another issue came up, that didn’t end up being the case it had the repairs completed at a random backstreet garage I have no information about. I made sure to raise my concerns to the finance company to cover my back and the fact I was paying for a car I immediately had to return back and had no communication from the site to know when I’d get the car back. In me doing this, I was promised the world by Bravoauto with claims of a full tank of fuel, two free services and my finance payments covered for the duration that they had my vehicle. I had 1 finance payment covered out of the 5 I had been paying before I received the vehicle and when I questioned this the sales person expressed that the manager told them they were doing it. My full tank of fuel was also only about £10 due to “new management” now allowing a full tank. I was told by the sales person to just take it on the chin, especially as I was using my part exchange the whole time and they would now be making a loss due to depreciation which was not my problem at all, especially when I made a loss myself paying for a car I didn’t have, paying for tax on two vehicles as well as messing around with my insurance multiple times. I foolishly did take it on the chin and took the vehicle as I was so drained from the past 5 months of messing around waiting for the vehicle that I was initially so excited to get. I really wish I never took the vehicle, on the 13th of May, two days after finally collecting the vehicle the engine light came on and had to go back to them twice due to this. 8 months later I book the car in for its first service in my ownership at a Honda dealership unrelated to Bravoauto and Inchcape who along with the service provide a complementary health check. The health check revealed that the gearbox has an oil leak! Now Bravoauto Bolton is closed down, I have no way of taking the vehicle back to them especially with a second gearbox issue in less than 12 months for them to repair. I have contacted both Bravoauto and Inchcape asking for advice on this, as conveniently the 12 months warranty has now run out as it was registered in December 2022 even though I physically haven’t had the car for 12 months, it has been almost two weeks since contacting them and they still haven’t got back to me. Being part of the reputable Inchcape I expected big things and always gave them benefit of the doubt, I wish I never bothered with them and certainly won’t do ever again.

A Cautionary Tale: Disappointing Experience with Bravoauto Derby (Inchcape) Car Purchase

My recent purchase from Bravoauto Derby (Inchcape) has left me deeply dissatisfied. Despite assurances of quality and a one-year warranty, my car's engine light appeared within two months. Despite four months of follow-up, they have failed to honor their commitment to service. Recent attempts to contact them have been met with silence, raising concerns about their integrity and customer support. Proceed with caution when dealing with Bravoauto Derby (Inchcape).

Excellent service

I was lucky enough to meet Sobia when visiting the Towcester Bravoauto branch. On this occasion I was selling a car,Sobia was very helpful and understanding regarding my poor hearing and took me through all of the forms that needed to be filled in with ease and lots of patience. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are either looking to sell or buy a car you will be well looked after especially by Sobia.

Do not trust their website

Do not trust their website. They leave vehicles uploaded that have already been sold to inflate their stock - and happy to take your money to reserve vehicles in the meantime without telling you. Extremely disappointed after having travelled half the length of the country to collect a car which was never there

Purchased a Volvo at Bravoauto

Purchased a Volvo at Bravoauto. Sales service was excellent. I hadn’t intended to buy the car as it was the first I had seen, however, the sales service and warranty were both excellent. The only downside is that the car bad neither spare wheel or sealant/ pump, and whilst not an MOT item the car would have originally had one and I would have thought the car would be despatched with it.

5 months back I bought my young son a car from Bravoauto Cannock branch we had the conversation concerning servicing at other branches being reassured no problem we qauentee to look after our customers !!.. we are not like other sellers can trust us. At the time I gave 5 star rating in my review praise given for our easy pleasant purchase, since they closed their Cannock branch we have received nothing but problems trying to service this car, endless phone calls waiting for promised calls back that never happened even calls cut off when they didn't want to discuss options for getting this car serviced for its warranty. Really unhappy about their response from the Derby branch. Another company takes your money then doesn't care.
