I can't rate SPAN.COM highly enough. When it came to upgrading my existing Synology DS713+ NAS unit, I did some research on the web where technical blogs & videos from NASCompares and SPAN.COM were really invaluable. I initially contacted SPAN.COM to ask for a quote on the basis that it seemed to be fair to deal with them since I had availed of the great free online consultancy / technical advice service they offer to NAS buyers . But just how good their customer service is became apparent once I got in direct touch with them. (1) Their technical sales contact (Paywand) gave great advice re: SSD and Volume formats ... and sent me back a quote the same day, (2) Their free of charge service to Build and Test service all component prior to shipping was a great bonus ... and was completed in less than 2 days from placing the order. (3) The unit was shipped promptly, and everything worked perfectly when it arrived. I couldn't recommend SPAN.COM highly enough as a supplier of NAS systems.
