The QNAP TR002 had not been configured as required following an email conversation about my requirements and how I was going to use it. As a non-technical person I was sent a Youtube link to watch and then to try and figure it out. As a non-technical person and from a complete point of ignorance I was expecting it to arrive with the pool and volume all set up like my TS 253A was. When there was any issue with the TS 253A on arrival SPAN offered, and indeed did, connected to it remotely and sorted it. I suppose I was half expecting that offer to be forth coming again. No matter all up and running now. The Youtube link I was sent just tells me why TR002and TR004 go into standby mode.
