Over the Christmas holiday period I got in touch with the guys at SPAN.Com via email. The email I got back said they were closed until the 1st of Jan 2019. I got in touch on the 30th of Dec. So I didn't expect a reply until the 2nd of Jan. No I got a reply within 20 minutes! It was from Lucas Okrasiak. He dealt with all my questions rapidly and gave suggestions. I placed my order a few weeks and that was it! I've now got my products all the way here in Nigeria. Hope to buy from them again.

Although I had a problem with the NAS, which I believe was caused in transit, it is my belief that it is how a company deals with issues that is most important. SPAN had everything sorted and the unit returned to me and in 4 days, which included a weeekend. Highly recommended and I would have no hesitation in using again.

Span were informative, communicative, responsive, patient, efficient, honest, polite and easy to do business with. They worked with rather than against this customer. I don't like to sing OTT praises of any business, and reserve my opinions above to just this purchase and a few others going back several years. I'm fussy in this area as entrusting one's data and day to day private cloud services to a NAS demands high standards all round. But on the face of it, for NAS and such supplies, as Span prices were competitive, up to date, service quality top draw, it would be inappropriate other than to give Span a solid thumbs up. Judgement reserved should this QNAP or HGSTs prematurely prove problematic in future, but I'm optimistic.
