SPAN.com service support did a great job, despite GLS (german partner of Royal Mail)

my package is stuck since 12 days in the middle of nowhere in Germany and I have to chase it... no notification from the delivery company, no notification from the seller who's going to take it off it to my door? UPDATE: I never got contacted by GLS, I sent them an email today. Is this the expected service to a customer? I have to track and ensure that the good is delivered? ... do I have wrong expectations? UPDATE(Nov.2018): thanks to SPAN.com Customer support I got this sorted out. It was painful, but we made it thanks for their commitment. I guess I will avoid to send to my private address with GLS any time in the future, but at least we came to a happy resolution. VOTE 5+

Very much recommend

I initially phoned up SPAN to talk to someone as I was bit lost as to what NAS to buy. I spoke to Paywand who was extremely helpful, and followed the conversation up with detailed e-mails with the NAS systems he recommended for my needs. I actually eventually bought a NAS that wasn't initially recommended, but that was because it hadn't;t been released at the time of our conversation but had been once I was able to make a decision. Very much recommend their expertise and knowledge and help

All as described. Quick delivery, but 2 minuses: * was ordered NAS configuration with RAID5 - but get SHR * only UK power plug - no EU power plug

Great service

Very quick to respond to emails and answered my questions with the appropriate technical detail. I purchased a Synology DS918+ with upgraded RAM and RAID configured disks, the unit came as ordered and on the delivery date given. I have no complaints about this business and would use them again due to their customer service and great website!

Excellent service

Excellent service, all delivered as expected. However, I noted that despite ordering the RAID to be setup it was not. To be fair, I didn't mind this as I'd wanted to do this myself anyway !

gave 5 stars even though i ordered for next day delivery but courier they used dpd went to wrong address ,,said they will try to deliver day after so really 2 day delivery beware
