Very happy with the service and knowledge provided from SPAN in relation to our NAS server purchase. We had comparative quotes from eBuyer, Broadbandbuyer and Ballicom. Not only was Span among the cheapest they also provided much better insight and knowledge of the hardware. Very fast turn around and everything worked as expected out of the box. Top Marks.

Had thought about obtaining items from Amazon and building new NAS myself. Had a look on Youtube and came across the videos that SPAN had put on. Visited their website and investigated prices. Little difference in price but reassurance off helpline and set-up of device was a plus. Happy to place order and it was built and dispatched promptly and arrived well packaged and set up as requested. One or two email queries were answered swiftly. Excellent service.

Very competitive price for my Synology NAS and WD drives. The drives were built into the NAS tested and set up in Raid 1 mode. All free of charge. The delivery was fast too. I would highly recommend this company.

Good pre sales advice, their website has a lot perhaps too many options so called and spoke to them and helped narrow it down. NAS are expensive but its one of those things your better to invest in something that will last so i went for a 12 bay for storing my videos / photos. Thanks again for your advice.

Fabulous service from Richard and the team at Span. Helped to fix an issue I had with an Areca RAID card that was just slightly out of warranty. Saved me a few bob, will definitely be returning to buy from them in future.

Lord help you if you ever have to deal with the return process for span.com. Having purchased a product from their site, it became faulty and I wished to return it. Fault was confirmed by manufacturer. Many emails went unanswered and I had to repeatedly use their live chat to get a response. Span.com then refused to pay the return postage despite being obliged to under law, I shall be issuing a chargeback and never using them again. They repeatedly told me that because I put my business name in when purchasing that I do not have these rights, this is not true unless specifically stated in the t&c's - which it is not. Please avoid.

ok, i happened across these people looking for my favoured supplier, SCAN. ooops. darned old age/ broken eyes. whilst i originally suspected they were somehow relying on people doing what i did, i don't think that's the case. pre-sales advice was great: price was around what i'd have paid elsewhere but they have the USP of pre-installing everything i asked for. turned out that that wasn't of use to me, as i didn't know (suspect Span didn't either) that the way i wanted to use the device meant that pre-install wasn't helpful other than ensuring the disks and NAS i bought were fully up to the mark. delivery - great. perfect. absolutely no complaints about anything. would i use them again? YES. resounding yes.
