My experience with EMA (my crew members were Rob and Shane) was excellent ! From the moment of bringing me down in a carry-chair from my 2nd floor flat , conveying me to my destination some 50 minutes away (while avoiding pot holes and speed bumps) to returning me after my visit up to the second floor again , what could have been a daunting prospect , turned out to be a pleasant "outing" to the countryside . I have had many patient transport journeys with other companies , and EMA were by far the best . Well done , guys !

I have been party to using EMA's service for secure transport on a number of occasions. I am a group registered manager of a couple of care homes in the local area (Dorset). EMA were effective during their service, the team were able to safely transport our resident from the care home to hospital. Despite the challenges that occurred I felt content that our resident was being well cared for. The team behind the scenes (office staff) were available to talk to me with concerns that I had prior to the transfer, they were knowledgeable, supportive and clearly had robust process's in place. My experience of EMA was that the service was outstanding, the care was outstanding, the response was outstanding from the initial MHA assessment and the crew were clearly being supported by an outstanding management team. On arrival to the home the crew asked specific questions about the individual to ensure that they had full insight into the persons needs this covered a range of areas including, physical and mental health, medication, triggers and behaviours that could occur. The crew also demonstrated strong knowledge with the client group we had within our home, they were able to actively manage risk and deescalate behaviours that escalated with no known trigger. The crew used least restrictive intervention making the individual feel at ease. I could easily identify that the crew had excellent training and clear knowledge in what they do. I highly recommend EMA to other managers that I speak to for transport services, I wouldn't recommend anyone else. I would always recommend this company for employment. The service is extremely effective in every aspect. Highly recommend.

From my initial enquiry through to the booking process and transfer of my 92 year old step-father, I could not have been more pleased with the care we were given. Long distance transfer for my Dad who has dementia, from hospital to care home. About 200 mile journey. Ambulance staff were wonderful (Kate and Sophie), my Dad had a nice and easy trip with them and they kept me updated on their progress throughout the day. EMA were also fast to give me a quote at short notice (only 2 days) whereas other providers still haven't even replied to me yet.

EMA transport supported us in getting my Mother in law to our wedding. They were prompt with the pick up and made my anxious Mother in law feel at ease. They were also really relaxed in giving her some extra time to say goodbye to us before taking her back to the hospital.

Very pleased with the service. The quote arrived quickly and EMA Patient Transport honoured it (unlike one other company). Everything was arranged quickly and without fuss. On the day, the ambulance let us know arrival time and were very thorough in preparing my Dad for transport. He had an excellent journey from Sussex to Dorset and the crew were marvellous. They kept me in touch with progress so that I could be at the new Nursing Home to meet him. Overall things could not have gone better.
