I purchased a True Traveller policy to do a multi-day hike
I purchased a True Traveller policy to insure myself and my possessions during a multi-day hike. During heavy rain on the hike my mobile phone was damaged by water ingress and it stopped functioning. After the hike I followed guidance from True Traveller and took my phone to a phone repair shop, where it was repaired. Again, I followed the True Traveller instructions to make a claim for the costs of the repair and submitted all of the necessary documents via email (such as proof of ownership, damage, and repair). Within hours I had received a reply from True Traveller to explain that my claim had been reviewed and accepted. I submitted the claim on a Friday and on the next Monday I received a payment for the cost of repair.
