Super kind staff and fair prices
Super kind staff, fair prices and smooth pick-up and returns! Only negative was the long wait for the airport shuttle and we had to wait 50 minutes after our call to be picked up in Christchurch. However the pick-up service in Auckland was great, super nice driver as well!

Palpable Decline in Service
Third time renting from Omega - and it’ll be my last time. First part, Chc airport: car was super old no usb connection, I mean: old. Service at check-in turned out to be the best I’d receive on this trip and the only reason I’m giving three stars cs one or two. Drop off in Chc, grumpy faces, no help loading luggage in to shuttle; woman knew she was unfriendly checking the car in ended up taking me to airport in shuttle, small-talk: you don’t get a re-do for unfriendliness. Second part of this trip, Omega AKL airport. Pick-up wait time: 35 mins. No help with luggage. Staff at office, very little personality/ friendliness (car had usb port). Drop-off thought the shuttle driver would kill us trying to make a light, no help with luggage. If you’re in the service industry and dislike people … find another job were you are not exposed to people. Don’t expect a tip watching ME in/load my luggage. Pre-trip, email: If I have to remind you to add the repeat10 after I tell you this is my third time renting from Omega … not good. Shame. I recommended Omega to a lot of people … obviously, won’t be doing that anymore!

The Toyota aqua hybrid did not break down…
The Toyota aqua hybrid was very reliable and economical. Was very auckward to book as I'm not good with booking on internet and has problems doing it. The car had many small dings and scratches. I lost the paper which had them recorded on it but they were not all recorded so I took a good video of all damage already on car. The computer system was useless for me as it was in Chinese so was unable to use any of it, manual for car was in Chinese so was useless to me. When returning the car because I had lost the paper with the marks on it the person receiving the car made it auckward. I told him I have it all recorded on video and if there is any issues I will see them in court as I did not have the time to argue it out with him. Probably be my last time renting from them because of all the difficulties from the business and the car

The website is good and it was easy to find the sort of car we wanted and book our requirements. This was promptly followed up by the company with a confirming email. On arrival at the airport, no hassles - we were collected and paperwork promptly completed and we were on our way. The car was clean and tidy and well maintained. Customer service is efficient and the staff are always pleasant and easy to deal with. The insurance options are straightforward. This was our fifth rental from Omega - we happily keep going back to this company because they always surpass expectation and pricing is competitive.
