Very happy with the install. The engineers arrived promptly and the Solar Panels were all in place in a couple of hours. The electricians then did the connections and we were good to go. Everything was explained well, efficiently carried out with no fuss. I was talked though the app and it was all set up for me so I can now monitor my energy generation. All good, just the bill to pay now!……

Really good experience with Grant Store,. not because it all went smoothly,. in fact it didn't and the weather didn't help but because they were very supportive and worked hard to overcome setbacks and got the job done.

Had solar panels and battery storage fitted by GSL this week. The team fitting the panels and the electricians connecting were excellent, they were polite, considerate and very professional, explaining all stages of the job and also how to understand the app showing the power flow and usage.

Grant Stores were easy to contact by phone with any queries and arranged installation of solar panels at convenient time. Installation was smooth all done within a day. A few minor issues with outside cables not being as neat as should be. Shortest route was taken which was over gas pipes, it could have been diverted round these, but would have been a longer route. It just looks messy. They tidied up afterwards and system does work well. However, if you are installing battery outside, it will affect it if the temperature drops so system will not work. As soon as weather improves it will be fine. I've ended up covering it, so it may have been better located in an outbuilding. They have been helpful on the phone with queries regarding the system. I did find a couple of long screws on the driveway after panel installation, which I presume were dropped, but luckily didn't cause any damage. App for the system is easy to use.

Very positive all round - start was a bit dodgy as surveyor did not turn up as arranged but all went very smoothly after that; scaffolders were excellent, solar panel installers were very efficient and so were the team of electricians who handled some unpredictable setbacks (old house) very calmly and carefully; the whole ethos was of a company who looked for solutions rather than problems - very refreshing Whole system seems to be up and running well but of course still early days

Very impressed with the service. Daniel Hartley was professional and knowledgeable. He patiently explained the procedure in setting up the air source heat pump in my home by using photographs and diagrams. An excellent service. Highly recommended.

I am delighted by the care and attention provided during the survey and design of our funded replacement heating and associated retrofit works. Today, David Dobbins the surveyor for GSL conducted a thorough survey and design of home in readiness for the heating installation. David’s attention to detail leaves me full of confidence that GSL are a really quality installer. David is a true asset to GSL, in fact probably one of the best trades guys I’ve met.
