They Know What They're Doing

Extremely customer-trapping practices for cancellation. The platform for onboarding customers is extremely simple and headache-free. There's even an open-ended question asking for hair loss photos that doesn't specify angles or poses. That's how they evaluate you. Very streamlined and low-effort to get the customer hooked. Then, the warning signs start showing up: the interface for seeing the details of your next order is separate from the interface for modifying your subscription. Supposing you want to cancel, there's a chatbot that has you go through many steps to cancel, enticing you with multiple discounts to prevent you. Then, even after you've finished ALL that, the bot tells you...to call a human during business hours. Mind you: they're not even available by phone during the night or during either of Saturday or Sunday. An online business of this size has no customer service available all weekend, even when shipping and other parts of the order supply chain possibly function on weekends and get products out the door before customers can get the chance to cancel. The cancellation form even presents hurdles like asking for basic info (name, DOB, state, email) and doesn't even stop if you mistype your name! These don't seem like real identity verification steps. They seem instead like efforts to trap the customer. Stay away.

Customer Service people are dense

I have no idea how well this stuff works because it's been weeks since I ordered and still haven't received the product. First, they don't tell you the photo AND VIDEO requirements before you order. They tell you that AFTER they have partially shipped your order (and won't take it back even though it's unopened). And then, when you express concerns about security and what should be in the video.... they just keep answering that you must send a 5 second video. ... not what it needs to show and have burned up way too much of my time and I STILL don't have the product.
