There are too many add on fees. A £42 ticket cost me £55. The note saying there will be fees is vague and not sufficient. The fees are excessive and not justified. Why do I have to pay to have a ticket that is essentially a QR code or a barcode in an email? Feels like a rip off and puts me off buying tickets.

Couldn’t buy tickets for The Dead South on the mobile app, had to use the web site.

Update: It was the promoter who cancelled the gig - so if you operate on behalf of the promoter, and they are the ones who cancelled (because they dropped the act), then surely the booking fees should be refunded? I purchased a ticket to a gig in a few weeks but the gig was cancelled by the event organiser. Eventim only refunded me the ticket price and not the booking fees. I wrote to complain and ask for the rest and they replied: “ Unfortunately, we are unable to issue a refund for the booking and mobile ticket,ticketdirect or standard mail delivery fees paid – Eventim are a ticket agent that operate on behalf of promoters and venues to provide tickets for a wide range of events on the phone, online and via our app. Please refer to our terms and conditions of sale for more information.” In this instance I believe I should have received a full refund!

I bought a 12.50 ticket which with all the fees ended up costing 17 pounds, that's over a 33% mark up, its shocking, I wouldn't mind if it was going to grass roots venues but we know it isnt

Easy to use and clear instructions at every stage.

Easy to navigate. Booked tickets for gigs many times, never had a problem. Also, love the app where all tickets info etc are available.

You lose four stars for excessive add-on fees. If memory serves it was a total of £8.06 on a £28.50 ticket or around 28.6%! Daylight f*ckin robbery!
