I bought a motorised cellular blackout blind for shipment to the UK. It shipped and arrived quicker than I thought it would. I love that I could specify the measurements of the blind for my window and it fitted perfectly. I replaced a manual blind and install was very straightforward. I bought the zigbee version which I have connected to home assistant through zigbee2mqtt and through that to Amazon Alexa. All works great and I have it automated to open and close at sunrise and sunset. Only reason this does not get 5 stars is because the motor is noisier than I expected when opening or closing.

1/2/24 Update: I received a follow-up email from Smartwings, offering to ship replacement motors for the malfunctioning shades. The replacement motors would be upgraded motors with Matter/Thread compatibility. I received and installed the upgraded motors about 4 weeks ago and they have been performing flawlessly. Thank you to Smartwings for standing behind their product and making things right. Star rating updated. Earlier this year, I purchased 7 shades from SmartWings. In the 8 months I’ve owned the shades, I would say the shades have remained connected to HomeKit and operated properly for no more than 5 continuous days at a time. I am constantly having to re-set and re-connect the shades - only to have to do it all over again in a few days. If I could return the shades, I would.

Beautiful and functional! Well made blinds, the motor works well, remote works well and was not difficult to use. Motor is quiet. Saving up to buy some more for large windows in my living room!

Window is 62 inches wide, three attachments were provided and everything snapped right into place. Attachments are screwed into the top of the window. The width and height of the shade is perfect having provided exact measurements. Stops just prior to the sill and doesn't hit the sides. Solar panel has been keeping the unit charged around 92% despite cloudy days and porch overhang. Integrated with HomeKit, goes down at sundown and up at sunrise. You do hear it if there's little to no ambient sound, not unpleasant, just an initial 'what is that noise?' that makes you wonder for a second.

Solid product, and a friendly support team that goes the extra mile. My Matter-based blinds are one of the most reliable IoT products I now have in my smart home of over 160 devices. Great from a technical standpoint, and everybody loves the design I picked from the wide array of options and customizations!

I've had my SmartWings installed now for almost 7 months. Initially, the shades looked great. Installation was easy. I did have to contact support to get one of my 5 shades aligned better, and the help was excellent. The shades quality is good, but not awesome. The material is like a plastic weave, which tends to separate slightly on the edges of the shades, but very minor. They still look great, function very well with the remote and the batteries are still going strong at this time. I do recommend these smart shades and would buy them again.

Our Smartwings roller shades have been one of the most pleasant and gratifying purchases we've made in a long time. Every aspect of the experience: product selection; pricing; ease of ordering; prompt shipping; easy installation; and performance, have all been spectacular.

Highly recommend these roller shades. They are easy to install, come pre-programmed (or can be re-programmed easily) and operate smoothly. The ordering process is straightforward and delivery (from China) was relatively fast. Advice: buy the sample book to make sure you make the right fabric choice, and of course measure carefully (twice!). My only issue is the apparent need to buy a Zigbee or Amazon Echo for mobile phone control. It should be Blue Tooth with an app.

The customer service is outstanding! I had a slight problem with my first order and it was handled quickly and without a hitch Since then I have placed another order and I am excited to receive them! I highly recommend Smartwings!
