8 Dec 2014: We ordered two Civilight 60W Dimmable Bulbs to replace the CFL ones in our lounge after seeing the article about Wll-Lit in The Telegraph newspaper. They are definitely better than the flourescent CFLs with the light being a nice, soft ambient light and very economical. Looks like this is the future of lighting after the old incandescent bulbs. We also trialled a similar bulb as a bedside light and were very pleasantly surprised by its silence with no apparent electronic 'buzz' being emitted at all. We both fully recommend Well-Lit and congratulate them also for their customer service and neat packaging too which is easily used for recycling afterwards and be used for other purposes, thus saving on waste for the environment. Well done Well-Lit! We will re-order later. Hampshire customers.

I've just purchased my second lot of bulbs from this company - they really are a genuine repalcement for 50w GU10 halogen bulbs. And one that we purchased over a year ago was replaced immediatly and without any quibble. Very pleased with the quality of the product, the prices that they retail at and most of all the customer service. We will use them again.

I was delighted to read about Well-Lit in the Telegraph and ordered some lightbulbs the same day. I have been using other eco-lightbulbs because it felt important but hated the dim, greenish light. What a difference these bulbs make. The warm, attractive light lifts my spirits as the nights draw in. I reordered more bulbs the next day!

I read about these bulbs and decided to try them as I, and I dare say most of the UK population, am fed up with the so called energy efficient bulbs, the reason they do not consume a lot of electricity is because by the time they have warmed up to full power, there's a laugh if you had half a dozen of the curly bulbs on you would still be in a dim room, you are switching off the light and going to bed. I bought three and but them in the dimmest rooms, and it was like going back to the old days, as when you turned a light it turned on full power straight away. They say the 11w bulbs I bought are equal to the old 60w, this I disagree with, they are much brighter and the light is a soft warm light. Why are these lights going to bankrupt me, because my daughter has just moved to a new flat and now she has seen the bulbs she wants them in every room, my sister wants them in her home, I have given them the address but their response was "you have ordered already so it is easier for you to do it, we will pay you later" yea right. If I know visitors are coming I am now going to switch the new lights to off.

I found this company through reading a genuinely independant blog written by someone looking at the various leds available, for their own purposes. I own an art gallery and am concerned about high energy consumption not only in my own shop, but globally also. Well-Lit was a great find. I have hardly ever come across a company so committed to their products and to good customer service; we had some problems with the low voltage transformers and good technical advice was available; we had some problems with bulbs failing and the entire batch was replaced immediately with a better quality bulb. The company is easy to talk to, not only give great guarantees but live up to them and are selling a very worthy product. My gallery (and my home) are now lit with energy saving LED's and I calculate that the payback time will be no more than a year and a half. I only wish all companies were as pleasant to deal with. I know this is all a bit gushy, but actually these people deserve the praise.

I'm an architect based in Kent and for many years I've been researching and looking at LED's and they have all been absolutely pathetic. I've bought from all the major online retailers and some major LED brands and I've only found two companies that have genuinely good products that work as the companies describe, one is Megaman and the other is well-lit. I've just completed a project of 17 townhouses in the UK and I've used well-lit products through out, the MD Chris Stimson came down to the site and kitted out our show home without charge to demonstrate his products and how they would look in the houses. After years of looking at cheaply made and low performance products I was amazed and excited to see LED technology finally working how we all expect it to work. Chris has been in the industry for a long time and his knowledge and experience are second to none and proved invaluable for me. Well-lit is my go to company for LED lighting and when they don't have a product I need, Chris is very happy to recommend another company to me which was Megaman. So please do not waste your time with anyone else, just give well-lit a call and get proper LED products at prices that really aren't much more expensive than the rest.

I have dealt with this company 3 times previously and every time my expectations were exceeded. Previously one of my orders was out of stock so the lights were upgraded to a stronger wattage. Recently I had some GU 10 downlights that gave problems. After an email the whole batch was replaced promptly They really go the extra mile to keep their customers happy. It's a pleasure doing business with this company and I can highly recommend their products and after sales service. Three more B22 bulbs and my whole house will be on LED lighting. Well-lit is my first choice for LED lighting.

I phoned the company to ask for their advice on LED Spotlights and find out the difference between their two spots. I spoke with Bujar who offered to send me some samples of each to try. I didn’t really want to pay £14.98 per spotlight for the 7w dimmable but when we put the samples up, they were absolutely identical to the 50w halogens we had taken out so we decided to go with these. My wife works from home and with two young children our lights in the kitchen can be on for 12 hours a day, especially in winter. After 4 months of usage we are delighted with them and i’ve been tracking our energy savings with an OWL monitor which has been considerable. With winter depressingly here already, we are turning the lights on more and more and our savings should increase. I’ve worked out that the savings from energy will have paid for the products in 11 months.
