I bought the nightscape filter, the picture on the website for this filter shows the filter WITH a lovely padded pouch and a lens cloth. If the pouch is anything like the three I have already had from Formatt-Hitec then they are really good quality, well made, magnetic closure, space for label. Neither of them were included in the package. Instead a thin bag for the filter. I have emailed the company twice to no avail. The website is thus completely misleading

Racist company. One of the many companies who advocate racism against African - Americans. I was recently on a Landscape Photography workshop on the Island of Jamaica. In spite of the amazing experience and the workshop host promoting Formatt Hitech Filters I couldn't help but notice that there are no African - Americans listed on their website. When I contacted the workshop host to share my disgust he only informed me that although he was familiar with one of the top individuals at this company he was never offered the opportunity to become an Ambassador and stated he'd prefer not to comment further. Person responsible for the selection of Ambassadors: David Lutwyche. Explain yourself.

Appalling "customer service" - charged, emails responded to ignoring query, goods never delivered. Worst online ordering experience I've ever encountered, charged money, no items delivered, additional fees demanded with no way to make payment, sit in house in order to pay fees to delivery person who does not arrive. After ordering online and paying for kit and additional shipping charges: 1) Receive email that there was a missing postcode which was needed for delivery, the entire address had already been provided when ordering, I provided details again along with an eircode (which is not required for Ireland and is not a postcode). 2) Receive another email that a phone number is required (was not a required field when ordering online), I provided them contact number. 3) Receive email stating I need to pay additional "fees and taxes" of €71.78. Nowhere on any of the pages from items ordered -> cart -> order form on the FORMATT HITECH website does it state that there would be any additional fees and taxes. As FORMATT HITECH state goods are made in the UK import duty should not be charged when deliverying to Ireland and the charge is much higher than VAT alone. 4) Click the link to pay and check what these additional fees and taxes are: "Pay Now" -> broken URL "Sorry! We Can’t Find That Page" 5) I email to query what the charges are for as there are no details at all and how payment can be made as the "Pay Now" link is not working, receive reply that there is a notification on "every page of the Formatt Hitech Shop" (am sent 2 URLs to website pages where there is a notification-none of which were pages related to my order; they were for other products). Then there is a most bizarre back and forth with what appears to be a bot used to auto reply nonsense to emails where the actual query in the email is never answered. 6) Sit in the house for an entire day on day of delivery, currently 9 hours, in order to pay fees to the delivery person who does not arrive. 7) Check delivery tracking which now shows "Delivery Refused"; I was 6 feet from the front door for the entire day and nobody arrived with delivery.

A professional and helpful local business. Would highly recommend. Have had great service and experience in the repair of my laptop and managed to restore all my data.

I found myself getting involved with Formatt Hitech at the start of the year after I applied to take part in their Fukubukuro give away. I was fortunate enough to chosen and I receive a great selection of filters as a result. I've been a user of Lee filters for a very long time and my current set were all showing signs of being well used. I needed to replace them which is how I found myself looking at Formatt Hitech. Being a South Walian myself it was great knowing that Formatt are based right here in South Wales and I managed to arrange a trip to the factory to collect the Fukubukuro bag. The filters themselves are very high quality and far superior to the Lee resin ones I'd been using. You see, Lee filters (especially the big stopper) produce a blue colour cast which just adds to the work needed in post production. From what I can tell by using the filters from Formatt there does not appear to be any noticable colour cast. The Firecrest holder does take a bit of getting used to, especially if you are using the light proof curtains. I did have a mishap with a 10 stop filter whilst using it but a quick message to the guys at Formatt had this sorted. Overall, an excellent product and customer service

When I first got into long exposure photography, I dipped my toes in the water by purchasing cheap resin filters. The ND filters gave me the silky smooth look I was after but the colour cast was so bad that I would struggle to fix in post editing. I knew I was now hooked and looked to invest in a quality set of ND filters, trust me I did a lot of research and looked at various reviews. After exhaustive research I chose the Formatt-Hitech system, and I am so glad I did. The company has continued to innovate, with each new product upgrade bringing visibly noticeable improvements to already class leading filters. I have now been a loyal beneficiary of their development for nearly 10 years and would highly recommend their filters to anyone wanting to take their photography to the next level!

I moved to Formatt Hitech filters a couple of years ago and I couldn’t believe the difference and improvement in clarity and colour accuracy. I’m addicted to the Firecrest Pro & Ultra ranges can’t get enough of them and the new Nightscape filter is fantastic. I’ve tried a couple of other leading filter brands over the years and had a bad experience with quality, colour and customer service and when I compare my pics there is just no comparison Formatt Hitech stands out above the rest and using them has cut my post processing time dramatically. The customer service and communications from the team is fabulous and they are the only filters I will ever have in my bag it’s Formatt Hitech all the way

I was first introduced to Formatt-Hitech Filters while on a photography workshop and got to try them first hand. The first thing I noticed was the supreme build quality and attention to detail of the filters and filter system. Each is carefully crafted to produce outstanding results which outperform anything else I've seen on the market. I now only use Formatt-Hitech products (primarily the Ultra series) and often take long exposures of over 15 mins knowing that I won't have any issues with colour cast or vignetting. Well recommended!

My experience with Formatt Hitech and their products has been nothing short of exceptional. The team have been incredibly helpful and supportive over my years of using their products, and the products themselves are the best I’ve used in my fifteen years of photography. The filters themselves are very neutral and incredibly sharp. The Firecrest Ultra filters particularly, are leaps and bounds ahead of anything else that I’ve used, whilst the holders are well designed and durable.

I've been using Formatt Hitech for a number of years and find the clarity and neutrality of the Firecrest glass to be excellent. The holder is innovative and (when compared to other makes) feature-rich and amazing value. Ik heb een duidelijk sticker aan de deur geen verkoper en toch aan bellen dit is vorm agrasieve verkoop methoden 1: een sticker geen verkopers aan de deur en toch doen is een vorm van aggressive verkoop methode dit is op gebeurd 20/02/2025 kap er mee sticker op de deur niet aanbellen weg wezen dat is de regel

Er zouden 2 isolatiemaatregelen uitgevoerd worden. Echter werd na de vloerisolatie geen contact meer gezocht en ook kregen wij na meerdere pogingen geen contact met comfort isolatie... Vloer is geisoleerd met pur... nu 1.5 jaar later blijkt dat we enorm veel schimmel hebben in het kruipluik en blijkt de pur als natte spons onder de vloer te hangen. Waardoor het ten eerste niet isoleerde maar zelf de vloer nog kouder maakt waardoor het hele grapje meer warmte kost dan behoudt. Een andere isolatie bedrijf erbij gehaald en deze gaf aan dat het bizar is dat deze pur gebruikt mag worden voor isolatie. Ook wist hij meteen welk bedrijf dit had gedaan en bleek bij het weghalen dat er grote stukken niet gedaan waren... want tja... hoe komt de klant erachter... Lang verhaal kort... Niet in zee gaan met Comfort Isolatie. Goedkoop = Duurkoop.

Comfort-Isolatie heeft bij mij de spouwmuren geïsoleerd en mijn beide daken geïsoleerd. Spouwmuurisolatie heb ik geen commenteer op, maar de dakisolatie is echt vreselijk!!!! Het dak van mijn woning en het dak van mijn zomerhuis is op een dusdanige manier geïsoleerd dat het met geen mogelijkheid meer netjes af te werken is. Op sommige plekken is het wel 40cm dik erop gesmeerd, op andere plekken net aan 5cm. Tevens zijn de muren en de meubels onder geïsoleerd, ondanks dat ik dik betaald heb om dit af te plakken. Wel contant moeten betalen. Tevens hebben ze een flinke scheur in mijn net gelegde vinyl vloer achter gelaten. Gebeld, gemaild, weer gebeld en gemaild, maar geen ENKELE!!! reactie van Comfort-Isolatie! Als ze je als klant binnen willen halen, dan is er volop contact, maar de service daarna is er niet. Ondertussen ben ik bezig met juridische stappen. Maar ga alsjeblieft niet met dit bedrijf in zee. Ze laten je met een bak ellende achter. Het is dat je een ster moet kiezen, want zelfs 1 ster is al teveel voor dit bedrijf. Leuk zo’n antwoord van het bedrijf, maar een oplossing is nog niet geboden! Met zo’n reactie zou je toch wat verwachten! Ik zou zeggen, kom je streven is na Comfort-Isolatie. Julie weten me te vinden.

Het aanbrengen van de vloerisolatie is snel en heel netjes gedaan. Goede communicatie en hulp bij vragen die we hadden. En hulp bij het aanvragen van de subsidie. En het resultaat van de isolatie was na een dag al merkbaar.

I have used WCF for over 25 year's, I dont know what has gone wrong but delivery, cancelled and rescheduled after already questioning the wait fir delivery and explaingvthat I would likely run out after waiting 2 weeks for my delivery, this never used to be the case, WCF always #used to go above and beyond to deluver an excellent service, sadly things appear to have changed, so, head office, whatever your new structure is, it isn't working. If it is a transitional problem you are facing, then you need to explain this to your customers

appalled with the service. orderd 1000L as did the neighbours, notified on a delivery date and they have not kept to it on either delivery, they then said it would be a couple of days- still awaiting delivery, no refunds for delay or explanation other than running a couple of days behind, i asked if they could call a couple of days ahead of delivery date to ensure we would be aware they are running as they state a couple of days behind to allow us to either pick up a drum of oil to last the remainding days. this was not something they could do even knowing they are running a couple of days behind across the board! not satisfied at all kids at home and no heating and refuse to go and get yet another 60L drum to tide us over past our delivery time again! DO NOT USE STEER CLEAR not the cheapest and not the service you pay for!

DONT BE MISLED BY THE SO CALLED CHANDLERS “BUYING GROUP” THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN SOME OTHERS AND CERTAINLY NO CHEAPER! Very misleading! You DO NOT get your heating oil any cheaper because you are in a buying group! We have continually found oil 2-3p a litre cheaper elsewhere locally compared to the so called buying group at Chandlers! DESPITE THEM SELLING TENS OF THOUSANDS OF LITRES through your buying group, it is more expensive than buying a thousand litres!

Ordered 600L heating oil nearly 4 weeks ago. Website issues meant my first order wasn't processed. Subsequent order has been postponed three times and on the re-re-scheduled delivery day I got a call at 16:15 saying it's been postponed again and they'll 'try and get it to you in the next couple of days'. Poor communication, no forthcoming offer of a refund for the extra money paid for faster delivery (I did get this but had to request) and still no oil. We're now out of oil and have no heating, the house is 11 degrees. Thankfully there aren't any children or old people in the house. A cold and frustrated first time (and last time) customer.

After the original installer of our ground source heat pump failed to correct a fault in our system, we turned to Stiebel Eltron for help. Their engineer Ian Milner identified the fault that had left us with no heating or hot water and in two days corrected a problem that had puzzled the original installer for months. We now have a warm house and hot showers. Stiebel Eltron have been truly amazing in their response to our request for help. Very professional, open in their discussion of what had gone wrong and fast in their implementation of the solution. Thank you Stiebel Eltron and Ian Milner in particular.

Excellent service I bought a DCE-X 10/12 Premium water heater through elementshop who did not reply to me when i had an issue with the unit. I mailed Stiebel Eltron direct and Ben Jones confirmed there was a fault in 2 mails with a new unit sent out ASAP. I would 100% use again.

I bought a studio flat a coupe of years ago with Stiebel Eltron heater installed. From the beginning the heater has been making the loud tapping and cracking noise, sometimes so loud, I could not sleep in the nights. Finally I contacted the UK Stiebel Eltron customer service if they could help me to resolve this problem, and they offered me a replacement free of charge. I was gobsmacked because the heater was not under the warranty any more. The first contact with the CS took place on 8.1.25 and a replacement heater arrived on 10.1.25. Huge thanks especially to Kyle Gordon from CS for the outstanding service and approach. Vlad

Stiebel Eltron UK Ltd. Premium priced products with poor performance and woeful aftercare. No heating or hot water 3 days following a brand new ASHP installation. Facing another week in limbo whilst technical support offer remote diagnostics: pull this cable, push that cable, tighten that cable... rudimentary problem solving and still no solution after 72 hours and the offer of a visit in another 7 days time. Avoid . Choose Daikin, Fujitsu or other more well known brands. Stiebel Eltron correctly have responded to confirm a visit has been booked. AFTER i have written this review. My point is 72+24 hours go by, my having to escalate to the highest levels should not have been required. My review and feedback is entirely accurate and a fair assessment of the lack of agility from Stiebel Eltron.

My Stiebel Eletron heat pump is new and I am learning how to use it. I called the help desk and Ben was very helpful is taking me through the set up and how to use it. The house is warm and I am not using much electricity which is great.

I had spoken to Kyle in maintenance in the past , he was and continues to be very helpful , but there is only so much guidance over the phone Kyle and his team now can and do provide through Stiebel service contracts , which I snapped at I was booked in , their engineer Mark attended , diagnosed and repaired , nothing was too much trouble and now I have a perfect system Its been an absolute pleasure

We have (two) of these units in position and so in service 24/7 for over 8 years now, with on occasion forgetting we even have them...their operation has been truly faultless! But like all mechanical things, they wear, and it is only then really you see the genuine service experience, and from Kyle in particular, not forgetting his colleagues in Tech Support over the phone, it has been exemplary in all aspects, which is never an accident of course, it is the result of tireless training and investment in their people to ensure this. Glass and Stainless - excellent work by Richard and the team who could not have been more helpful throughout the project. G and S designed and installed Crittal Doors to the ground floor of our house which look brilliant and are a real feature whilst also retro fitting two sets of shower doors upstairs each requiring a lot of thought to get right. Really good work all round and the fitters were a pleasure to have on site.

Excellent service, the glass arrived within 3-4 days within ordering even though I ordered custom sizes. The delivery driver was very helpful. I had a query and the telephone service was excellent. I haven't fit the glass yet but it is all in one piece and I presume it measures what I ordered. So far will definitely recommend and great value for money.

Very helpful and gave us lots of good advice, prior to and during order. Gareth responded quickly to any queries. We would have liked a bit more information in the pack with the posts for those of us who had not installed a balcony before.

Disappointing experience with Cadplan. This involved miscommunication, delays and eventually after 6 months we made the decision to pay again for the work to be completed by a qualified Architect. We assumed that Cadplan Architecture were qualified Architect's which was our mistake. We found that the difference in using a qualified Architect was worlds apart especially as we are incorporating modern technologies. Cadplan were unwilling to share their electronic files which meant leaving them was more difficult and resulted in us having to pay to complete the same work twice. Following Cadplan's response: To start with I would like to say that after writing this honest review, Cadplan threatened us with legal action if we didn’t remove it. This bullying is what we have been subjected to throughout. Cadplan had delays from the start because of a personal renovation and then directed us to a structural engineer who whilst was excellent, has a long lead time. We had gone back with all the information Cadplan had asked for in order to continue the drawings so assumed Cadplan needed input from the structural engineer before they could provide our drawings. After meeting the structural engineer he didn’t understand why we needed him at that early stage of developments. I was sorry to hear that Andrew was unwell. I contacted him once we had met the structural engineer to see if there was anything else he needed to continue the drawings and I received a generic email saying “Dear client, I’m letting you know that I’m unexpectedly being treated in hospital at the moment and unfortunately it’s temporarily interrupted communications and work on projects, I’ll be out very soon and will update you as soon as things become clearer going forward.” 6 weeks later I had still not heard from Andrew and so I emailed to say I’m sorry you are unwell but we need to continue the project and can we have the Cad drawings? He emailed back saying he was working again and he could send the next drawings in 2 weeks. I emailed back saying whilst this is tempting we had met other architects but asked if the two week timescale was realistic? I then didn’t hear from Andrew for another week when he said he’d missed my email and sent a drawing we hadn’t asked for and a bill for £585. Andrew finally emailed to say that we will draw a line under the £750 invoice I had already paid and an over payment I had paid of £150 so we had a total bill of £900 with nothing to show for it. This was the bill for existing drawings that the previous owners of our house has already paid Andrew to complete and he had retrieved from his files. All in all, I really don’t think Cadplan faired badly out of our engagement.

We were referred to Andrew by our builder and couldn’t have asked for a better service! Andrew designed our upward extension and guided it through the planning process which was not straight forward as we started at the same time as new Government guidelines being released regarding permitted development. We had an idea about what we wanted to do with the space and Andrew brought it to life with a set of impressive drawings. The Class AA Prior Approval was agreed followed by subsequent planning permission to put in place roof winds and vaulted ceilings, both of which we wanted to have from the start but were restricted by permitted development guidelines. Andrew dealt with the North Somerset planning department on our behalf, answering any questions they had to ensure a quick and more importantly (for us!) positive response to our application. The communication from Andrew was good and he kept us in the loop on how things were progressing through the whole of the application process. Overall, the process with Andrew was smooth, personable and very professional and I would have no issues in recommending his services. Now on to the building regulations and structural arrangements which Andrew is also seeing through for us; fingers crossed this goes as smoothly as the planning application!

Andrew and the team have been great and have supported & guided us through our first extension (a single story wrap around c.40sqm). His personable qualities have helped us shape our project, along with simplifying the technical aspects and talking us through the stages, he was also able to recommend great local tradesmen to support the project from start to finish. Very impressed with the service provided by Cadplan architecture. I had a late requirement for assistance with developing plans for a loft conversion and the associated documentation required for a planning application. Cadplan architecture were very responsive, diligent and proactive in quickly understanding the requirements and delivering the required plans and documents. I would certainly use their services again and would highly recommend them to others.

Andrew and his team have done a superb job of not only designing us an additional storey to our bungalow, but in also navigating his way through the AA permitted development application. Used this company twice to order short length pipe cuts that I need for my sculptures. The delivery spped is reasonable. They to either learn how to cut pipe straight or use a bench saw. Looks like it was cut with a handsaw using the most unskilled employee they could find.

Slow despatch, and really poor delivery experience. When I complained, complaint handling was appalling. I was told they were happy with the overall experience, and effectively I should stop moaning.

I ordered a soil click sensor from irrigationonline and 4 hours later found it was not needed.When I phoned the company they immediately cancelled order and refunded my money. Not many on line cos. are this good.

I bought the 10 inch Planer/Thicknesser for some projects. Couldn't be happier. I have some old oak stock that I was able to mill so that I can make some presentation boxes. The blades and motor seem to be holding up well and it is strong enough to deal with all the hard wood I have thrown at it. For the amateur its perfectly usable. It takes less than a minute to move from jointer to thicknesser, so no time wasted.

Product was offered at £20 less than other websites and delivered next day at no extra cost. Haven’t used it yet but have other tools of the same brand which are excellent for my needs so I am not expecting anything different this time.

Tried it yesterday for the first time and the sand paper wouldn't stay on the velcro. Had to abandon it in the end and use sand paper. Very disappointed. Gave a bad review yesterday but tried it today with some new sandpaper and it was excellent so take bad what I said. Just get your own paper.

Ordered an internal Sapele door via Robert Dyas, have still not received the door after several calls I have still not received a call back. Very poor service!

I ordered my door on saturday, and was told it would be delivered in three weeks. On wednesday i recieved notification they could deliver on Friday, which they just did. Less than a week, brilliant! The delivery driver was very helpful and polite. I'm very happy. The door looks as i expected it to on delivery.

After they were the only pool company to return my calls and emails we used Blue Cube to summerise our pool. Because they did that well and in a customer friendly way we got them to do a full relining the pool. Andy, Lewis and Rhys were great and the final look is excellent. I am writing this review a year on so that it fairly reflects our entire experience. Blue Cube completed our pool at a reasonable price and under difficult circumstances due to Covid restrictions. There were some problems along the way. The plastic liner did not fit snugly at the first attempt and they tried to blame us for turning a vacuum pump off (actually it was one of their guys who turned it off). The dehumidifier did not work when first installed and could not be fixed for 5 weeks (it was Christmas/New Year season) . This led to some black mould damage to the interior walls, which we found had not been varnished. We eventually settled on a discount to the final payment to allow for this. Since then the pool has been fine. We have been able to use it through the winter, though you can imagine the electricity bills! Blue Cube have not been in contact to check on how we are doing with our new pool but they have answered questions by email.

The engineers duly arrived with us at the time agreed and from start to completion everything went “swimmingly smooth”. Two young gents who were extremely polite who seemed to completely ‘know their stuff’ and genuinely cared about what they were doing. When presented with the job nothing seemed a challenge and the job, a replacement filter system was completed accordingly with no fuss. These gents are a real credit to the business - thankyou once again Blue Cube Pools.

We instructed Northern Trade Windows to replace a full set of windows and doors on our property. From start to finish, they were absolutely brilliant. From going through designs and options, to measuring and survey, to the installation, everyone was knowledgeable, helpful and very courteous! The turnaround time was very quick, too! The quality of the windows is second to none, and the quality of the installation is fantastic, too. We are very happy with the windows and would give a 5 star review for this. Great quality, fitted quickly carefully, with minimal mess. Staff have been friendly and knowledgeable. It is nice to support a small local business. Unfortunately, following the initial sales visit there has been some poor communication, confusion and misunderstanding, between us and Northern Trade windows and internally between staff. Once the contract had been signed, we felt a little unheard and initially unimportant as the customer, so been disappointed with the after sales service, hence the reduced star rating. We experienced some leaking through the front door, but aftersales could not help without a guarantee number, which we were unable to access, due to being away from home. There followed some misunderstanding about when we thought we were going to be called back. When we rang back today, (following further leaking), we were told that they could not see a record of last weeks call. I understand that it is Christmas and a busy time but we were told that it could be up to 2 weeks to get our leak looked at. However, I'm happy to say that since our initial trust pilot review, and conversation with the Sales Director, our problem was sorted. Within the space of 3 hours, an engineer came round and dealt with the leak. We have been assured that our experience was a combination of unfortunate one off issues and positive changes have been implemented to ensure improved customer service and aftersales for us. We are now very happy. We will definitely consider future purchases with Northern Trade Windows. Thank you

The whole process was an absolute breeze from start to finish. As a young female FTB I’m always been so nervy on having tradesmen in, in case I’m overcharged or made to feel uncomfortable. Northern Trade Windows made it all so easy, charged a reasonable price and made me feel comfortable from the first initial email. The window fitters were extremely polite and professional (Kyle and Andrew) and nothing was too much trouble for them. Totally happy with the work done - 2 doors, front and back boiler house. Front door was a challenge because of the size, but the job was no problem for them. The fitting was top class, and the fellas worked well and finished everything within the day and left no trace. Having been let down by other local fitters with high prices and non-communication, I know now who to contact for future works.
