National Trust or should I say National…

National Trust or should I say National disgrace have used the beach at Brancaster in Norfolk for over 25 year for access to the section of beach controlled by the RSPV were we are allowed to Kite buggy But now at the age of 75 I decided to take up mini yacht sailing, this is exactly the same size as a kite buggy but is powered by a sail instead of a kite its a much safer sport . But the team at brancaster say no I cant use it but wont give a reason complained to head office but they say no as well and have now contacted the RSPV and talked them round to saying no as well I find this disgraceful I think the National trust is woke inward looking and very protectionist not nice people an unregulated organization that thinks it can do as they will ,Let me remind them that they don't own the land as they are gifted the land to hold in perpetuity for the people clearly not in their minds I urge every body to boycott the National Trust

Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens

So . . . Visited the gardens at the weekend for the second time. The first was nine years ago in the Summer. The Outstanding thing about this place is - The “Feeling” - It floods all through and gently whirls around you. A sense of Warmth, Hope and Love. It stimulates every part of you. So real as if it were a solid object, as though you are holding it softly inside your cupped hands. It provides us with what our internal world needs. An invisible power which ignites passion and charges our life force with “purpose” - Fills us up to the brim making all good things happen. “My Heart A Breathless Beat - I Am Complete”

The NT needs to educate staff on drone…

The NT needs to educate staff on drone LAW. 'Policies' are not applicable to the general public, only to staff. Let it be known that drones are allowed in places that the CAA deems fit. The NT has no rights whatsoever to control the airspace above land owned by the NT.

Shameful with bereavement

A month after notifying them of my mother's death they have not responded regarding a refund of subscription which was paid after her death. At a difficult time of notifying numerous institutions and authorities they are the only one with which there has been any difficulty. I'm not sure whether this is incompetence or indifference and from the reviews here it's no clearer. The National Trust does seem to have developed a reputation for being quite mercenary or at least uncaring.

MEMBERSHIP ISSUES

This was going to be a 1 star negative review but it turned into a 5 star positive review as I am very satisfied with the way the team has handled my complaint regarding my membership renewal. They were polite, helpful and went above and beyond to provide me with a satisfactory resolution.

Appalling service

I joined on 31st at one of the properties and was told that I would receive membership cards within three weeks. On 28th September NT emailed me a link to some cards that expired on 21st September. Does the NT consider this helpful, or is this some sort of joke that I don't get? Whilst some of the properties might be interesting, the NT is absolutely appalling at administration and keeping it's word on promises made.

Cheaper if you buy from the Scottish…

Cheaper if you buy from the Scottish website, still access all properties in uk. Why is the English version more expensive? Thanks, for the reply, but that seems like a really odd policy, and one that I hope you will revisit. I'm keen to support your cause, but I think you are taking some liberties by charging the people you are supposed to represent more that others. The cost of visiting a house is now really quite prohibitive - especially for families, it's really such a shame.

What have you done to the scones

What have you done to the scones? They used to be delicious, soft crumbly and scrumptious, they are now thick doughy and dense and leave a nasty taste in your mouth for hours afterwards. I won’t be buying again unless you revert back to the old recipe.
