Use with extreme caution
I purchased 20 boxes of the mono tiles from Porcelain Superstore dissapointingly as our tiler started to put them up he came across that the tiles weren't all identical sizes and therefore the gaps across the wall were getting larger and larger. The quality control in sending products out to customers on this basis is poor and made worse by the fact we have to pay now to get them returned to their warehouse because of their fault. I would use this company with caution and on the basis you're buying a generic and simple tile.
happy with my order
I have ordered few free samples and they were delivered the next day I was very happy with the quality and the pattern and the fast delivery.
Lovely quality tiles
Lovely quality tiles. Speedy delivery
Brilliant Service
Lovely online shop where I was able to find perfect kitchen tiles and super friendly and helpful customer services! Overall brilliant experience. Definitely will use again in the future and would recommend to anyone.
Good Customer Service - However Order Cancelled
I wouldn't recommend ordering from this company however I will say their customer service team are very good. I ordered some free tile samples (love that this company offer x4 free tile samples, actually a really good idea) and I'm glad I did as the tile sample that arrived looked nothing like the photo online. I contacted their customer services to question this and was told that they don't send the full tile and only send a small section of the tile. Obviously I already knew this but what I was questioning was how the small section of the tile could be so wildly different to the picture online, the colour and detailing was completely different. After I sent this email they automatically sent me another sample free of charge (which arrived much quicker than the first samples) so I could see a different part of the tile. This sample still looked the same as the first sample and so I decided not to order these specific tiles however placed an order for a different tile. I placed my fist order and was able to choose a delivery date that suited me (another feature I liked about this company). 3 days later I checked my Spam folder in my emails to see the company had emailed me to say my order was out of stock. I understand this isn't their fault that the email went into my Spam folder, however after not hearing back from me a quick phone call or further contact would have been helpful considering this order was supposed to arrive tomorrow, I'm half way through a kitchen renovation and am now being held up by flooring. In the email I was told the new stock would be arriving next week and they will send after that but didn't give me any further options to choose dates etc. This doesn't work for me and therefore is frustrating as had I known the tiles weren't in stock and weren't going to arrive on the date I needed them for, I'd have chosen different ones. Instead I am having to wait for a refund and being held up finishing my kitchen. The customer service team have got back to me really quickly and have been helpful in organising my refund, just the experience from the company itself and not being able to receive the first order has been frustrating as I was hoping to have had a positive experience and be able to use this company again as I had already started looking at other tiles but wanted to see how the first order went before placing more orders. As this order didn't go well I don't currently feel enthusiastic about trying again.

Absolutely avoid this company
Absolutely avoid this company, i spent near on £5500 to have 90 sqm of floor tile, they never had that much is stock but still allow you to place an order, i received an e-mail telling me the rest of my tiles would be here this week, so now i have a half finished area, no idea when rest are arriving, the tiler who booked out the week has left and i can't get my kitchen fitted as the floor needs to be in first, shocking company.
Argumentative customer service
I ordered and paid for 2 boxes in January, they were not in stock until March though. I then had the existing hall floor removed, re concreted, levelled etc. Then had area wall papered , painted and vintage doors repaired and painted all to match the tiles. This work took a few months to complete as , like everyone in Uk at the moment, workmen are hard to find and book. I ordered a further box of the same tiles in September to be safe and because the tiler revised his estimate. At last, other work completed , I arranged for my tiler to complete the floor work the weekend before my major operation. However, he spent the entire day trying to place the tiles successfully to take account of the mixed sizes and 8 faulty coloured tiles. Eventually he gave up and said it was not possible to lay the tiles successfully and for them to look good as ones eyes would always be drawn to the faulty colour and differing grout gaps. That wasted day cost me £100. I have contacted customer services several times since and provided photos to prove my issues. I have requested a further box free of charge as the tiler says with that he feels he can probably mix and match to make a better job of it. Firstly they said that the differing sizes was due to ordering a further box later and thus from another batch. I reluctantly accept this may be the case even though the smaller ones are not even smaller the same as each other! Then they said the colour fault was part of the natural charm and my dissatisfaction was due to personal taste and not faulty goods. This is despite the professional tiler also saying they are faulty and impossible to lay correctly. I cannot believe that a reputable large company are not prepared to meet me on this and continue to argue. I have spent £300 so far and still have no floor. All the area has been designed to match these particular tiles and therefore, a different tile is not an easy option. I cannot see why a further free box or a refund is not provided when goods are faulty. I have asked the company to visit and see the problem and offer a different solution if they can. I am pursuing this matter legally and have every confidence that anyone who sees the 8 discoloured tiles in question will instantly agree with me. Update : Following this review, The managing director of the company contacted me speedily and helpfully. I have now received a free box of the tiles with complimentary delivery and trust that this will enable us to complete the work needed for a new hallway. I am therefore happy to recommend the much improved customer service from Porcelain Superstore and their products.
Cancelled Order
Ordered and paid for my tiles on the website and arranged a delivery date. Received an email days later which said the tiles were not in stock, but they might be in stock in 4 weeks. Ridiculous situation. Update the website to reflect accurate stock levels and do not take customers money if you cannot fulfil the orders. I will never use this company again.
Make sure you have 24 hours of manpower…
Make sure you have 24 hours of manpower to check for breakages! Really happy with the tiles I chose however, 1 box was totally broken through. I was refused a replacement box (less than £20 worth!) because I was over the 24 hours they give you to check. I am not sure how this amount of time was decided to be realistic for an immobile person to be able to unload 41 boxes in order to check for breakages, sadly it wasn't for me and I had to wait until my tiler could go through them.
Very happy customer
I read lots of reviews about this company, of which most were negative. After ordering 4 outdoor porcelain slabs, and some from other companies, i really liked the Melrose Cream. I decided to order a large quantity for delivery. I had very good communication emails regarding delivery, which was delivered today, on time. The driver was a very nice, helpful person. The only niggle i would have is that you have to inform them within 24hrs of any damage or breakages to receive free replacements. I am very happy with my purchase and the service.
