We moved into a student house last year…
We moved into a student house last year and got a contract with the bunch for our bills package. After cancelling in July after a year with the bunch and no confirmation they are still taking money from our account without us being on contract with them, even after us sending back the Wi-Fi box and cancelling all of the other contracts. Have called them twice now to get our money back and no clear answer on whether we will. All the staff appear to have different an understanding to the contracts under the bunch and have not made any information clear to us. We are now with another bills package and are paying for two sets of bills at the same time. Hope that they can sort it out for us as soon as possible. I would not recommend their service at all.

Bunch: £200 cancellation fee
They have been overcharging us for months and changed our fixed rate without informing us. They then introduced a management fee of £10 but have been charging £40 every month. I tried switching providers and they declined it twice, I then called up to ask why and they said I had to get in touch with the cancellation team but leaving will result in a £200 cancellation fee which was never brought to my knowledge when starting this “contract”. Not happy and I will not be paying this fee as they’ve been overcharging.
Extremely helpful and kind
This was my second time calling the Bunch for customer service with a laundry list of many issues that were not straightforward. I called with the expectation of the same poor customer service as I received the first time (listen to everything that was going on but did nothing, and I had to reach back out to try and get help again), but getting Matt as a customer service rep this time was a welcome surprise. He was incredibly helpful with every single issue and did not pass a single one on to someone else to deal with. He figured out multiple things that were wrong with my account and addressed them immediately. I could not have been happier with the customer service I received.
Stressful and essentially scammers
I used the bunch for my bills management for my student house during the academic year 23/24. The first 2 months of the contract we were without electricity, water etc due to disputes with various companies. It was difficult to get hold of During the contract we were ridiculously overcharged for the bills. It took 4 month to receive a final statement and then another month to receive a refund, which was minuscule. Terribly organised. Stressful to deal with. Please do not use this company, for the sake of your mental health.
Cancelled contract after them charging…
Cancelled contract after them charging nearly 4 times what I should have been paying. Took me 3 months to be able to cancel the contract as could not get in touch. I have now been waiting 6 weeks for a refund and they are telling me this could take up to 12 weeks?! I have explained many times how I need the refund in order to pay my current providers but they do not seem to care. Don’t think I will ever get the money back
Scammers in Bedford
It’s incredibly frustrating dealing with "The Bunch." When I started, my bill was £156, then suddenly jumped to £200 without any clear breakdown. Now they’re asking for an outrageous £400, claiming I went over monthly usage, which feels impossible. When I lived in London, my gas, water, and electricity combined never even reached £120. To make matters worse, they refuse to provide detailed charges, saying I don’t have meter readings, yet the rental property insists they keep their own readings. How can they accuse me of overusing utilities without any actual meter data? Meanwhile, people in London are even getting government subsidies, but I'm being charged these inflated amounts. I’m definitely switching providers; this has been a terrible experience!
