The items were great quality and as described .. and great value for money. Their customer service team responded to some queries that we had which were resolved in time as they came from a number of different sources so needed to keep track of what is due from the bundle purchased.

I'm very sorry to have to concur with the other negative experiences on here. I'd seen some negative reviews before I placed an order but gave the company the benefit of the doubt, assuming it was due to COVID/circumstances beyond their control. I ordered a 2nd hand camera, which turned out not to be in stock despite the website saying it was. I had a lot of back and forth emails with the company, but long story short I had to file a chargeback claim with my bank to get my money back - which thankfully worked. This caused me a lot of stress as they were sitting on my cash for close to 2 months. I'm a sole trader and it impacted my cashflow. It's sad because I'd like to support a smaller business, but experiences like this just drive customers like me to the big companies where at least there's peace of mind that issues like this won't happen. Do yourself a big favour and avoid this company.
Bad experience
Ordered item that was supposedly in stock. When I queried why it wasn’t arriving I was told the truth that they didn’t have it in stock. After 5 weeks I still cannot get my refund of £2,500. The owner John is not answering my calls and ignoring me. I have to take legal action now. I would not recommend. I have no received my refund and an apology from the owner.

H Preston are still very good after placing orders for atleast 20years they still do their best to accommodate any issues. My last order was late after being promised a delivery date and as a good will gesture they sent me a camera bag, I was very grateful and happy to recieve, now that’s a great service for a valued customer, thankyou.
Fraud and loss of over £6500
We made a purchase on the 16 August via the website for a camera and lens at a cost of £6599. These items were stated to be in stock We received some messages early on that the items were shipping or delayed. Our recent requests on the status and finally to cancel the order have been ignored. We are now in the process of reporting this matter to the police.
