Great tech support, too frequently needed

The charger has been charging at the advertised speed which is brilliant. I have had problems with charging from solar (i.e. just using excess solar rather than importing any power) but that may be an install issue with the Ct clamp. And I recently had an issue with the app which meant I could not charge at all. But the support I have had from tech support on emails I have sent has been excellent and makes a real difference. Please sort out the software quality issues and give better installation instructions to give your tech support people a break so they can add value rather than pick up the pieces

Second time I have had to ring Project EV and as per my first experience the service and advice was excellent. Well done Theo, who patiently explained the tests he wanted me to perform and provided some tips for the future; he also initiated a software update.

A Company I Have Actually Enjoyed Dealing With!

Ademola Kassim has been the voice of Project EV since I started needing support to register the charger, through to helping me connect and set up, right through to my final questions around the dashboard. He has been a pleasure to work with and made complex issues in my mind reassuringly easy to resolve. We've been on quite a journey and I am delighted he has been my guide throughout. First class tech spt by Theo

Spoke to Theo at Tech Spt to reset my Project EV charger. Theo was very patient, knowledgeable and above all positive about resolving the issues, mosty of my own making, as they arose. I have always experienced a first class customer service from Project EVs team in SA and Theo was definitely first class, thank you.

Avoid Project EV

I will have had the Tesla four years in September. My regret is opting for the Project EV charger. Almost four years of misery with not charging errors and issues. The charger or the app thinks the battery is full so the charger rejects the request to charge and so on. Countless support requests to a South African call centre where you will usually wait around 48 hours for a response. No good when you need the car the next morning for work. Avoid Project EV. I have been advised to submit a Level 2 support call and their turnaround time is quicker. Meanwhile I’ve had to go and charge elsewhere at a much higher cost than home charging as it has rejected charging over seven times today. Now been advised I have to pay £150 for a site visit to fix the faulty charger that is still under warranty.
