Project EV Good Support

Project EV are always quick to respond to support enquiries. And are always very helpful. On several occasions I have had the answer to a query within the hour. Certain elements of the pro app aren't on the support portal like setting the chargers to private. I would also suggest a "locate me" button would be useful in the app. You currently have to zoom in and out and search postcodes manually.

First-class end-user support

I posed a query to Project EV by email, asking for guidance on the compatibility of their EVA-07S-SE charger with the Intelligent Octopus Go electricity tariff. I received a very prompt reply (less than an hour-and-half later!) from Callum Tipler at Project EV. His response was wholly positive, specific to my question, detailed and relevant. He confirmed the basic compatibility and then added a few extra tips to ensure I didn't have any conflicting configuration in my charger. Perfect response in my view. I've been very happy with the performance of my Project EV charger which I've had for just over a year, and now I'm even more happy with the quality of end-user support they've provided. Recommend the products, the company and the people.

Technical support with fixed LAN connection

I had very helpful technical support from Wade Miller today to transfer the connection on my home EV charger from wireless to wired in order to improve reliability. Wade patiently talked me through all the steps on the ProjectEV app, my phone settings and the home broadband router. The charger is now working on the fixed connection.

Had an issue getting the charger to…

Had an issue getting the charger to connect to the WiFi. I called customer service and spoken to Ethan who kindly talked me through the process to fix it and it now works. I don't get my EV for 3 more months so not tried to charge a car yet so fingers crossed for when I do, but the customer service team have been great
