I purchased my pony-o's mid last year…

I purchased my pony-o's mid last year hoping that they might help to protect my fine hair and add volume. Within 6 months both of them had internally snapped and are completely unusable. Almost $100 down the tank. Don't buy, just wear scrunchies.

I just received my Pony O and Pony O2…

I just received my Pony O and Pony O2 and I love them. I have super fine thin hair and it holds great. I'm always trying to find ponytail holders that won't rip out my hair and Pony O is the ONE that works. I read reviews on here and have no idea why anyone would leave a bad review. Like I said above I have super fine thin hair and it works great. Stays in place. I recommend anyone who has fine thin hair to get a Pony O.

Buyer beware

Ordered a pony O and accidentally got one too heavy for my fine hair. Contacted customer service to return or exchange. Was informed I would have to pay return shipping and shipping for replacement item (as well as $5.99 for original item). Not worth it! Who wants to pay $15 shipping on an inexpensive item. Customer service was NOT at all helpful. Buyer beware!

I love my PONY-O

I love my PONY-O! Stays in my hair all day, no matter the size I use. All the people claiming that it doesn't work, just don't know how to use it. There is a learning curve but if you follow step by step and get the correct size, then there is no problem. They are a small business and do what they can so paying for shipping is understandable and I love supporting a woman owned business.

Pony-o hair accessories. POOR quality

I loved my pony-o...until it broke 6 months after purchase with intermittent use. The metal inside the band broke and penetrated the rubber part of the band. Took pictures and sent to their customer support which was quickly responded with template-like response (I wonder how many emails they are getting of the same query as mine). I noted that my pony-o has been stored in accordance to their instruction. Here is the response quoted directly: 1. If your product is less than 30 days old, we will be happy to send a replacement of the same color and size. 2. If your product is less than 5 months old but more than 30 days, there will be a $9.50 charge (approximate) for shipping/taxes on sending out the replacement piece. Once I receive a photo of the broken piece, I will send you an invoice for the shipping cost. After payment is received, a request for your replacement will be forwarded to our shipping department. 3. If your product was purchased more than 5 months ago, we can offer you a 10% discount on purchasing a new Pony-O. (You will only have one of these options to receive your replacement for your broken piece, not all three.) ---------- Note how free replacement is only provided for purchase below 30 days. I like how they don't even back themselves up on quality! When quizzed if there is any other option as I will not be buying more of a failed product, the answer is NO. NOT impressed at all. Beware buyers, I fell into their honey trap and social media hype. Take your business somewhere else. PS I saw someone here mentioned their page has only good reviews...Well, I voiced my experience with my broken pony-o on their facebook page and the comment has been deleted within hours. Ha!

I recently purchased the pony o

I recently purchased the pony o. One for thick and the regular one. I was so excited hoping I'd found something to keep my hair up at work. Although it didn't fall out as quickly as my regular pony tail holders it did start sagging down after about 2 hours. Im disappointed. Definitely would not recommend.

not worth it

The pony o will stay in my hair however after a few hours, my head is in PAIN from it. It pulls disproportionately on my hair. and the bun bar? A joke. It is open on one end and after wrangling my hair to twirl down and actually having to make the bun, the bun bar doesn't form to an actual bun. hard to explain, but it doesn't work as advertised. The pony o gave my hair some extra height but the pain of wearing it takes away from it.

Purchased multiple versions of the Pony-o

Purchased a regular Pony-o, slim 2.o Pony-o and the bun bar. I have very thick hair long hair, have watched multiple videos on how to use this thing and it does not hold my hair up at all. Closest it gets is if I wind my hair up in a knot and use the Pony-O to close over it. Getting your hair through this thing is also a chore. its awkward to have to navigate into the ring and yank all your hair through. The bun bar is glued together???? I used to have the old hair-agami and expected it to be like that but this thing is cheaply made, so I don't expect it to last very long. Since the regular Pony-o cant hold my hair up, the slim 2.0 version stands no chance. Over all, this is probably for folks with thin- mid level hair thickness, and I would have your money and purchase something different.

Terrible product

Terrible product. My good ole thick rubber band works great, but unfortunately I fell for the Pony-o hype and purchased several of these terrible products. They do not stay in my hair, nor do they give you the nice fluffy full volume look displayed on the website - no matter what I do. It definitely won't stay in if you are planning on doing any kind of activity. When I emailed the company, I was offered a tutorial like I'm an idiot, or a return on my own dime. A tutorial does not fix a completely inferior product, and I should not have to pay for a return of a product that is not even close to described. Back to my elastics that actually keep my hair in place, these are going in the garbage. Complete waste of hard earned $$$

Waste of Money

I was excited to finally have an option for my long hair that wasn’t elastic hair ties getting snarled in my hair. My pony o and bun bar arrived within a few days. I watched their official how-to videos, and tried it out. Within 30 seconds my hair was falling down and loose. The bun bar is a flappy piece of plastic that doesn’t stay put. I tried several times to make it work. These products are an epic waste of money. I wish I had read all these bad reviews here before buying from them. They also delete bad reviews from their Facebook comments. Very shady business with terrible products.
