Excellent company
Excellent company. Melissa was phenomenal, helping me plan every step of the trip while responding quickly. On the ground, Rodrigo Venegas was an amazing guide in Santiago. The star of the show was the Atacama Desert, and the company perfectly mapped out my time there. Thank you!
Amazing Experience!
We can’t say enough positive things about our experience with Inca Expert. They custom tailored an itinerary to fit our length of stay and everything went off without a hitch. All of our tour guides were terrific and knowledgeable. Fabricio, our guide for Cusco and the Sacred Valley, was particularly outstanding. It was like he had a well thought out lesson plan that he expertly executed and brought to a perfect conclusion on our last day with him. We learned a great amount in a short time, and we left in awe of Incan civilization and the beauty of Peru. He was also very attentive and engaging to our 7 year old daughter throughout the trip, which was amazing! We highly recommended Inca Expert for anyone who wants to experience this beautiful country and its history without having to spend months planning an itinerary. Thank you Inca Expert!

Our trip experience with Inca Expert…
Our trip experience with Inca Expert Travel was awesome. I really want to thank Debbie (for helping us plan a wonderful itinerary) and all her team members who made us feel welcome the moment we landed in Lima. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and took their time in explaining about the attractions. We did not have to worry about any transportation and the guides were very punctual and accommodating. Would highly recommend this tour company.
Best travel decision we have ever made
We have never used a travel planner before, so I was a little hesitant to do so for our trip to Peru - but it was the best decision we could have made. Grecia and her team at Inca Expert Travel coordinated every aspect of the trip, from hotels, to guides/tours, to transfers for every aspect of the trip. I never would have been able to coordinate all of the details of this trip without them. They communicated throughout the process, and every part of the trip was scheduled precisely. The guides all showed up exactly on time, and it was easy to find our drivers and contacts. They answered all our questions and made us feel comfortable throughout. The price was reasonable, and we felt it was worth every penny. Highly recommend Inca Expert if you are thinking of going to Peru.
Fantastic company!
Debbie from Inca Expert Travel did a fantastic job planning our anniversary/birthday celebration in Peru! She was able to create an itinerary which included dinner at Central, Machu Picchu, and Cusco within our limited time frame. Every detail was planned perfectly - transportation to and from all locations, knowledgeable and engaging tour guides, beautiful luxury accommodations, and even a few unexpected surprises to celebrate our special occasions! I highly recommend Inca Expert Travel and I look forward to planning future trips.
Our trip to Peru exceeded expectations
Our trip to Peru exceeded expectations. My fiancée found Inca Expert Travel online after doing extensive research. We like having private guides at each location but not being part of a tour group. We were met at each airport, bus, and boat. Guides and drivers were all on time and all the guides were fantastic. Having a local “organizer on the ground” in Peru, who set up all our hotels, drivers, and especially knowledgeable local guides, was key to our fantastic trip. I very highly recommend Inca Expert Travel and our travel advisor, Grecia, who coordinated with my fiancée and made everything easy. We started with 4 days/3 nights in the Amazon, at Hacienda Concepcion, reachable only by boat from Puerto Maldonado. (We flew in to Lima, had an easy hotel transfer for 1 short night and then transfer back to the airport for our flight to Puerto Maldonado, airport pickup and transfer to the boat, all of which went very smoothly). Hacienda Concepcion was all-inclusive and the food and accommodations were excellent, including waking up to howler monkeys in the trees all around us. Best of all was our guide, Alvaro, who took us on boat rides on the river and lakes, day and night hikes through the rainforest, and pointed out all sorts of interesting things we would not have otherwise noticed. We had an unexpected adventure when a caiman caught a snake right in front of us. I can’t promise anyone else will get to see such a thing but it was quite memorable! Next we went to Cuzco. I have been to Egypt, Rome, and Jerusalem, and I can honestly say Cuzco is right up there with the great wonders of the world, as an ancient city built on hills, with streets built by the Incas and buildings from Inca and Spanish eras. Inca Expert Travel found us a charming hotel in a perfect location and provided easy transfers to and from the airport. Our private guide picked us up on time from the hotel for two days of tours of Cuzco and its surroundings. Fabrizio, our guide, knew all sorts of fascinating history and facts about the numerous sights he took us to. The most unexpected pleasant surprise was the town and ruins of Ollantaytambo, which I expected to be just a place to get the train to Machu Picchu but which turned out to be an ancient Inca town with a massive Inca fortress or city that is still being excavated. Inca Expert Travel made it easy for us to leave our luggage at the hotel in Cuzco for 2 days/1 night while we went to Machu Picchu, and we got the same lovely hotel room back on our return. After taking the train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo) we had a nice evening and night there, and were met at our hotel the next morning by our guide Emanuel. I cannot say enough about how excellent he was! Emanuel is a local from Aguas Calientes who is trained in archaeology and world history, including having studied at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC. and traveled through the USA. He enlightened us about the true history of Machu Picchu which is different from what we had previously thought, based on recent archaeological discoveries, showed us amazing sights there, and took phenomenal photos of us with great backgrounds. He is quite the photographer in addition to knowing everything about the place! Afterwards we spoke with other people who visited Machu Picchu, and they did not get nearly as much out of it as we did – I cannot emphasize enough how important it was to have a guide, especially one as knowledgeable as Emanuel. Finally, we returned to Cuzco for another night, then flew to Lima for a final day of sightseeing there before flying home. Through all of this, we did not have to worry about a single transfer, pickup or drop-off, or anything at all because it had all been arranged in advance by Grecia from Inca Expert Travel. To repeat: having a local “organizer on the ground” in Peru, who set up all our hotels, drivers, and especially knowledgeable local guides, was key to our fantastic trip. I highly recommend Inca Expert Travel.
