Pichu and the sacred valley. In addition, once we made it to Cusco, one of my sons and wife got altitude sickness and my other son had an allergic reaction to some food. This is where Inka Expert Travel really shined as they were able to secure Machu Pichu tickets and hotel stays for the new itinerary quickly and coordinated with the hotel in Cusco to have a doctor visit at the hotel at night to see my family. The doctor’s prescriptions were able to get them back on the road. However, their conditions took a toll and I had to postpone the start of the journey a couple of hours, which was again easily accommodated by the agency. On the way back from Machu Pichu there were also delays, since our train had to go back due to a faulty locomotive and then go back on its way once they changed it. Despite this delay, the representative of Inka travel was able to meet us at the train station to take us back to the hotel, just like in every other case. I highly commend the choices of luxury level hotels from Inca Expert travel. These are worth experiencing and have their own history. However, most importantly, when you reflect on all the pieces that must come together to have an enjoyable and successful trip, my top choice will go to someone I can trust. Someone I can depend on when things do not go as expected and someone with intimate knowledge of what is taking place in the country of travel and that has the vision to put together the trip I desire. Inka Expert Travel certainly fits this criteria. Grecia took me by the hand, since the start. She was instrumental in helping plan the trip, add options, keeping me up to date on the situation in Peru and going out of her way helping me with a special request of finding a New Year’s party in Lima, that proved not to be as easy as it sounds. Ultimately it was Grecia that made my trip to Peru a reality this January. In the end, I was one of the 50 last tourists to go to Machu Pichu until further notice. When that would change? Who knows, but we did it and thoroughly enjoyed it! Beyond the start of the trip, the support while being in Peru is 2nd to none. There is always someone who answers the phone - Oh Yeah - when you have emergencies or questions (even late at night and on holidays) that can solve the problems that show up (I believe Melia helped quite a bit with this).

The trip Inca Expert Travel curated and their customer service exceeded our expectations in every way. My whole family of 6 had the time of our lives, and we were so impressed with the guides, the efficiency of transportation, the communication, and the organization of tickets and itineraries...everything! In addition, we were so prepared and cared for in advance by our agent Selene. On a scale from 1 to 10, we give Inca Expert Travel an enthusiastic 11!

Phenomenally-planned experience. Grecia Fuentes organized my trip very efficiently. The trip required little to no planning on my part as she had taken care of all aspects (lodging, transportation, flights, tours, etc.) I HIGHLY recommend.

Our coordinator Liz was amazing, she had every detail ironed out and we literally didn't have to plan anything. Our trip was super last minute and she had us dialed in within about 24 hours. The guides on the trail were also great. Everything was top-notch and super well organized.
