My partner and I booked a Galapagos cruise but when we saw what the cruise line was charging for a five-night Cusco/Machu Picchu add-on, we decided to do it on our own. I always do our travel planning but the prospect of identifying and booking all the various components of this trip, however, quickly became daunting. Flights, rail, hotels, busses, tours, and attraction tickets all had to be coordinated with perfect precision. So the very first time I spoke with Rachel, our travel advisor, I knew that she was going to plan the perfect trip for us. And the perfect trip she planned—an entirely private six-day trip at less than half the price of the cruise line's five-day group tour. Throughout the entire experience, we remarked to each other several times how amazed we were that everything was being executed so flawlessly. The detailed and easy-to-follow itinerary Rachel designed for us told us where to be and when to be there. We were met by a driver, a guide, and our tickets everywhere—at exactly the appointed time--and never had to worry about getting from one place to another. The hotels Rachel recommended to us in Cusco (Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel) and Aguas Calientes (Inkaterra El Pueblo Hotel) were both spectacular. The tours of Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu were all spectacular, and since they were private, entirely flexible. The flights, trains, and busses were perfectly scheduled and Rachel even got us to the Galapagos in plenty of time to meet our ship—then back to Quito at the end of the cruise. I can’t recommend Incas Expert Travel enough. Rachel made our trip of a lifetime everything we dreamed it would be--and more.

This trip was a honeymoon for my son and his wife. Everything was perfect: the guides were great, the hotels were great, the food delicious and the ruins and museums were spectacular. This Machu Picchu trip was awe inspiring!

Our trip was choreographed with excellence by James Gilmore. Every tour exceeded our expectations and the guides were outstanding.

We had a fabulous experience in Peru due in large part to the arrangements made by our Incas Expert agent. She listened carefully to us and arranged a tour that was exactly what we wanted. From the Nazca lines on the east coast to our jungle stay in the Amazon to our tour of Machu Picchu and the Andes she made our dream come true. It was wonderful not to have to worry about a single thing. There is always the potential for problems when you are traveling in a foreign country where you do not speak the language but there was not a single problem with any of the arrangements. The hotels were excellent; the local guides were friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Peru is amazing!!!
