Fraud!
Ordered a gift card and it came up with a message saying unable to process the transaction.. Gave it another try and said same thing. Checked my banking, they took the money twice but did not get the gift card! Contacted customer service only to be told oh sorry about that, we were unable to collect the funds. You'll have to contact your financial institution! The funds could take up to 10 days to be released back to you. No other solution or response. This site is horrible and offers no customer service.
THEY GET AWAY WITH IT!!!
I ordered a joker egift card in the amount of $200.00 I didn't get the emailed card and my bank says the funds have been processed. Giftcxards.ca has been telling me the funds could not be captured so they are refusing to send the card. I have spoken to five different people at the company and not one of them has offered to rectify the situation. I have read all the reviews and NOT ONE TIME HAVE THEY OFFERED TO FIX ANYBODY'S PROBLEM!! It was my last $200.00 and they blatantly STOLE IT FROM ME With no offers to make it right The funds have already been processed and therefore they have my money and are refusing to send me what I paid for This company literally makes me sick and how they treat people is sick and wrong. I don't think they've ever returned anyone's money for their screw ups and they should be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY Before they have a chance to rip anyone else off. I can't believe that they get away with this and nobody does anything about it. I guess I can start a company and take people's hard earned money and give them nothing in return and that's ok. No repercussions whatsoever. What is this world coming to. SICK AND WRONG

I will never purchase a gift card from here ever again! Buyers BEWARE! I bought $100 Esso giftcard. I used $70 of it. I tried using the rest and it says it's on hold? For what? I've phoned and all I do is get transferred and transferred and transferred. Spent hours on the phone trying to get a hold of someone. As soon as you do they pass the buck to someone else. Just tried again today with same results. I am beyond frustrated. Just give me my money back!!!
Horrible and I DON'T recommend
Horrible. What kind of refund policy is it where someone purchases a gift card that hasn't been used, that can't and won't be refunded? From the Olg.ca site, it mentioned giftcards.ca as an option to purchase E GIFT CARDS, so thinking it's from Olg.ca and it's and E GIFT CARD, I thought ok, perfect. Problem is, these E GIFT CARDS can not be used online, and the very site that mentioned them as an option to purchase. I do not recommend this site, and any site with a refund policy that won't refund orders that have not been used, is ludicrous. In this day and age of social media, get enough people pissed off of your service, and they won't use it, plain and simple. Why shoot yourself in the foot with a horrible and dumb policy? Anyways, disputing the purchase now, and just lost a good customer. Good move, Giftcards.ca.

When I tried to purchase a Thrifty's Foods gift card through giftcards.ca, they charged my MasterCard $100, then sent an error msg saying the order was canceled/not processed. But, the CHARGE TO MY CARD was not canceled. It was processed. They took my money and I received nothing in exchange. That amounts to fraud. STAY AWAY FROM GIFTCARDS.CA
"Failed" Transaction?
Bought an H&M gift card today and right at the checkout it said the payment did not go through. I received no order number, no confirmation, and there is nothing in my recent purchases. My bank statement however, shows the payment went through. I tried calling and was met with an automated voice asking for an order number which I was not given. I have tried the website's chat and it said my session had ended and nobody responded. I don't see any email I can use to contact them either. Please respond or I will be contacting my bank and disputing the charge.

SCAM! STAY AWAY! Tried purchasing multiple gift cards for clients. They charge your credit card and later state there was a problem with the card. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY (confirmed by the bank) and get to use it for up to 5+ business days before refunding. MORE! The Phone number they provide in the email for support IS NOT THEIRS!!! You call an unrelated CHASTAR gift card processing company in USA. This website is criminal and should be shut down.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE: PLEASE READ
I have never written a review on trustpilot in my life and normally I don't write reviews in general but this has been THE worst service i've ever experienced in my life and please I will advise anyone to actually read this before they go ahead and purchase a card with them. I will be as detailed as possible. On december 17, I purchased a $15 ubereats gift card from this company for christmas. Immediately after purchase, I got an email that said "Your order is being reviewed for security and fraud screening. Once it has been approved you will receive a confirmation email". I thought that was a bit strange cause it's literally just a gift card but I decided to allow them do their thing. On december 18, I hadn't received the gift card yet nor had I gotten a confirmation email. I checked my spam and refreshed my order history page on their account -- it kept saying "order status: processing". I decided to use their virtual chat box on their site to talk to a representative. She told me that their company does a review and it generally takes 24 business hours and so she would implore me to wait. I said okay and I would call the next day. On december 19, I went back to my email again to check if the gift card was delivered and nothing. The order status still said processing and so I decided to again use the virtual chat to speak to someone. This time, I spoke to Bessy M. She proceeds to tell me that it takes 24-72hrs for the fraud review on credit cards and I should be patient. I completely refused and asked for my refund back and she says "refunds are not possible". I don't bulge then she eventually tells me that she will "escalate it to their upper-level department for a refund consideration" L.O.L. I decided to call their customer service number. This time, I spoke to Kevin and explain my frustration. He regurgitates the same thing but this time tells me to wait just one more day and for sure by tomorrow "I would have the card". I mentioned to him how I had bought a sephora gift card from sephora app that morning around 4:30am and had gotten it 3 minutes after and so I don't understand why their company is different. He said every company is different etc etc. cool. Note: the charge was posted on my credit card on this date so I now know they had taken the money but had not given me the card. On december 20, I again decide to try the virtual chat to talk to someone since I still haven't gotten the gift card YET. However this time, it doesn't allow me to talk to anyone. Immediately I open the chat box, it says "your chat session has ended" -- mind you, I just opened the chat box. It continued to do this and I decided to call the number again. I spoke to a man and explained my anger and just asked for my darn refund. He said he will put it through and gave me a case number. He then said within 1-2 business days I should get my refund processed but it will show up on my card in 5-7 business days. I asked if I'd get an email to corroborate what he's saying to me and he said I will. Today is december 22. I have not gotten any email. I have not gotten the card (not that I want it anymore tbh). I just got off the phone again with the company and I was speaking to a woman who asked for my order ID. Upon providing it to her, she goes on to say "oh i see it was a sephora gift card". I'm confused like huh? no... it's an ubereats gift card lol. This is the worst company ever. Customer service is terrible. I will be disputing this charge with my bank and I honestly hope someone looks into the company for fraud because this is crazy. ________________________________________________ yes. i would like my refund back.
Useless
No option to do multiple cards so did 32 one at a time. After each one it said processed. At the end I went back to check and only two worked. Tried to get help from the online chat....useless. I inputted 32 individual gift cards because there was no option to do a group input, spoke to the online chat fella and he said there was a way but could not explain it properly. Anyway, after each individual purchase the system would go through its process and when it was complete it would say process completed. So I did this 32 times then went back in to ensure everything was done correctly only to find 2 cards had been issued. It took me hours with my creditcard provider to ensure my card has not been charged for the 30 card requests that didn't work and they suggested cancelling the card because this was not a trusted website. I'm sure giftcards.ca will respond to this with some type of excuse but by reading many of the previous reviews, they don't seem to fix the problem.
