Disrespectful service
There is no indication in the faq that the gift card cannot be used in Sweden. Is Sweden one of the countries were the virtual card cannot be used? The customer service still did not provide any help to solve my case. _________________________________ I am still waiting for a reply or email from GiftCards, after weeks trying to solve the issue. Is there some information missing to solve my problem? As in the customer service, GiftCards keep letting me on hold with no reply. _____________________________ My email is still the same as in the order you found (fernanda.schafer@***.se), and my full name is Fernanda Schäfer Hackenhaar. In the previous virtual card, my name was issued as Fernanda Schafer. ________________ I received a virtual Joker card as a gift (did not order it myself, but it is in my name and received it by the email fernanda.schafer@***.se). I could never use it, my payment is always denied. I spent more than one hour in the customer service chat, and I was disrespectfully left on hold with no answers.

Was almost scared off by these reviews, but it seems as is often the case angry leads to more reviews than happy. My first experience was great! Went for a Spotify 12 month gc, the best/cheapest way to do Spotify Premium, since they don’t do an annual rate directly. I signed up & ordered in less than a minute! Despite the very clear warnings it could be a couple hours to check for fraud & then up to 48 hours processing, my timeline looked like this: 11:18 - placed order & created new account. Paid on my visa through Apple Pay 11:19 - received ‘under review’ confirmation email 11:21 - received ‘approved & processed’ email 11:22 - received ‘gift card’ email From there I clicked the link, copied the code, then went to the Spotify redeem site they noted, pasted the code, confirmed, and done! 11:18 to 11:23, literally 5 minutes start to finish, including redemption, and I’m paid up until 2024! Not saying others didn’t have their issues… just wanted to note my experience since it was so different than others listed here.

I have never been through a more frustrating experience. I was trying to give Gift Cards to 8 employees and EVERY time I tried my visa was declined. I was told by customer service that they had "TWEEKED" my account and try the next day. Well the next day the same thing happened three times. Don't waste your time with this company. Now none of employees got their gift card. Stay away!

Wish I had read these reviews before attempting to purchase gift cards through this company. Took an hour. Despite indicating that the order was processing, the transaction never completed. There was no error message provided. Used chat feature. Not helpful.

Zero stars Waiting since yesterday. Now late afternoon and still nothing Had a call to confirm information and told it was escalated that was 2 hours ago Disgusted and never again Update. Called and told I would receive it any time. Still nothing. Address and email, all other information matches my credit card and giftcards.ca information. 24 hours. Not a weekend and still nothing received Update 2. Day 3. Still nothing. Really feeling I've been scammed. Now my money is gone and no gift card Update 3. Now 48 hours in. My money is being held spent 200$ on a gift card,the company took my money and declined the transaction after,don't buy from this company they're a scam.How can you take peoples money and then decline the purchase that makes no sense at all and then say you go hold it for 7 days what the hell.
Waiting more than 24 hours for my LCBO…
Waiting more than 24 hours for my LCBO gift card… could have walked there and delivered it in person in that time. 10 business days to release the hold on my credit card! She canceled it without confirming with me. If something goes wrong, I’ll likely forget to check it that time. Messaged customer service and got a ton of ‘we are sorry’ messages but nothing that actually helped. Boo!!! Inconvenient, frustrating and unacceptable in this modern day.
Seems scammy
Seems scammy. Was directed to this site from the LCBO website so I thought it was legit, but the site was very glitchy. I tried many times to buy a gift card, but no success, just errors like “too many characters” when there were not, or “can only use plain text” which I did. …but they got my cc # (cancelling that now) and though I created an account, they claim to have no record of my account. The agent I spoke to in the chat said the error I got were due to my being outside of Canada (I was not). Even if it is not a scam, there are major tech issues with the site.
Legit site with quick verification process!
Saw all the negative comments and rating and I thought I would give it a try myself, I used it for a small gift card, put my credit card info in, signed up and paid for it. it took 5 mins to review my order and then got another email with purchase confirmation and a link to the code of my gift card to be redeemed. Tried the code on the wanted app and it worked perfectly fine. would defiantly come back and the site is 100% legit

Ordered a gift card for my aunt. She received the card but it failed to work at all Bath and Body Works locations she tried.I contacted giftcards.ca and a refund was denied. A total scam. Would give a negative review if I could! Order#6899657
