Missed the first night of our holiday due to a break down on a live motorway, was due to arrive at the hotel around 4pm didn't arrive until 10pm.

The hotel was lovely but a couple of issues. Our rooms weren’t ready when we arrived. At breakfast next morning there were long queues waiting for cooked food. The staff seemed unaware that the dishes were empty & needed replenishing. This could have been dealt with more efficiently.

Absolutely brilliant time. We went as a group of 4 and had never stayed at the hotel before. There were mixed reviews on the website and we didn’t hold out much hope to be fair. However, the hotel was really nice and the food was good. Even got a Christmas dinner on the second night. The trip was well planned with a stop off at Gretna both ways instead of service stations. It was lovely with little shops, a cafe and take out drinks available too. We had no complaints. The driver was very good, friendly and safe and the hotel staff were very helpful. Bargain price and great break. Thank you.

The ladies I spoke to were pleasant and helpful.

Pentahotel Brussels airport was not up to standard. Damp and black mould in bedroom. Beds did not look as if they’d been made. Wife is asthmatic, pillows were feather filled, asked if they could change them and told rather abruptly they couldn’t.Told they’d been asked this before.Smell in bathroom. Left hotel and booked elsewhere

A nice visit to Howarth and then the steam train trip which was excellent. Leeds Christmas market on the Saturday which was a little dissapointing and too much time spent there.

The trip on the whole was value for money... but hotel was perhaps not upto scratch... food and staff excellent though... our room was cold radiator not functioning , shower malfunctioning too. Had to fetch heater from reception....the show was excellent....

The journey was good. The hotel is not so good, in need of a lot of TLC to make it 3 stars.

We spoke to a very nice lady who was extremely helpful, so the booking was a simple straightforward experience.

The bus drivers were excellent, as was the steam train but the time at Oxenhope was to long. The hotel was very clean but the evening meal was not suitable for Diabetics. There was no vegetables and only suited somebody who liked fish or spicy food. Leeds Christmas Market was too spread out so didn't see much.
