Operating like a scam outfit
They have had my Omega since September 2023 which was trusted to them for a full service and clasp replacement. They have never provided updates from their own volition. Updates have been provided weeks after me contacting them following missed deadlines. Now they don't respond anymore. 4 months ago claimed they were waiting for the replacement clasp to arrive for all of this time. I attempted to cancel the clasp replacement and just wanted the full service done. They originally agreed to this stating it would take 7-10 days but then U turned 5 weeks later saying it was too late to cancel the clasp replacement and it would take another 3 weeks! It's now been 4 months since that. I contacted Omega to check on their accreditation and even though it turned out they did actually have one, it got revoked in July 2024. I have since asked for my watch back in its current condition but they have been radio silent for over 3 months. Over time I ended up thinking that that these guys don't service watches themselves but send them on and act as middleman which would explain the bad customer service and lack of updates. But the longer this has gone on, their behaviour has been more akin to a scam/criminal enterprise. LWR has a solid review score but many of the 5 star reviews come from them completing simple battery replacements for quartz watches which any watch shop can do on the day. For mechanical and vintage repairs, there are many 1 star reviews. They then fail to respond or cast doubt on any of those 1 star reviews by claiming they don't recognise the author. Don't be fooled by the canary wharf shop. I warn everybody reading this to avoid their trap and look elsewhere.
Quality repair @ a good price
Quality repair @ a good price. Definitely recommend LWR. Will use again if needed
If I could give zero stars I would…
If I could give zero stars I would because that is truly what the service from LWR deserves. I entrusted my Tag Carrera with LWR on 13th August 24 and was told it would be 10 weeks to repair. I was initially impressed as the communication was excellent. However LWR went silent on me after September. I chased them in December and like other reviewers was told it was “on the bench” and I would have it before Christmas. Needless to say this didn’t happen - which having read some reviews was of no surprise to me at all. I went into the concession in Harvey Nichols Manchester 13th January '25 to chase up and again was told that the watch would be a further three weeks and was “on the bench”. I was told if it wasn’t back in three weeks I should go in and they would find out how much longer it would be. So I have zero confidence that I will see my watch in three weeks time and little confidence I will see it ever again. If it’s not back with me in three weeks I will be left with little option but to pursue LWR through all available legal channels. Dreadful company, dreadful communications and dreadful customer service service
Omega Seamaster Service - now in Week 27 !!
Like many others it seems, I am chasing LWR to get my Omega Seamaster repaired and returned. I initially sent my fully working watch in for a simple battery replacement in June 2024 (55564). It was returned but started losing time, up to an hour overnight. I returned the watch to LWR who then suggested it needed a full service to fix the problem, which I had to pay more for. They accepted the service payment July 2024 and quoted 20 weeks for the work (55965). I've had a house extension go up quicker than that, which seems crazy now, but was obviously an underestimate as the watch hasn't been fixed yet, now in week 27, its awaiting parts, allegedly. I wasn't going to write a review but decided it was better to let potential customers know what to expect sending their watches to LWR. I recommend you let the manufacturer complete any works on your watch.
Do not use, I have no prospect of my watch being returned
I sent my Omega Seamaster in for a service in June 2024. I asked for a progress report in October 2024 and was informed that they were waiting for a part to be delivered. In December I contacted them again and they said Parts (plural) were being waited for. It is now January 2025 and I have tried to ring for an update but have been on hold for 30 minutes with no answer. It has been 7 months since my watch went for a service and I have no idea when or if it will be returned. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Communication is poor to non existent and their timelines are meaningless.

Serviced my 1989 Rolex Datejust
Serviced my 1989 Rolex Datejust. Fully insured postage for delivery to their service centre. Provided a detailed quote and an estimated completion date - lengthy, but understandable given the age of the watch and requirement for parts. Quick to respond to update requests. Watch returned serviced and backed by a 3 year warranty. Happy with the workmanship and would recommend - will use again.
Great result
LWR had my watch for a warranty repair and did an excellent job. Very pleased with the result, even though it took a long time, worth the wait.
