It was well established from the onset that the watch would take some time to go through their repair system but they kept in constant touch via email with progress reports and now the watch is back, it’s working well and I’m very happy

Fixed a broken clasp on a Cartier Tank…

Fixed a broken clasp on a Cartier Tank while I waited no more than 5 minutes! Exemplary service levels - the clasp was fixed quickly and efficiently and repair was completely free of charge. Can't recommend highly enough - exemplary service. Elsewhere they wanted to send my watch away for 12 weeks to assess the problem....

Yet again I had to ring luxury watch…

Yet again I had to ring luxury watch repairers to chase my refund they are quick to take your money by asking you to pay up front but when I comes to returning your money it takes months and months they promise you to return it but never do this company can not be trusted they are dishonest and and economical with the truth do not trust them when it comes to your money

Mistake not rectified

Sent my watch to lwr for a simple battery replacement. When my watch was returned, the case had been re-attached upside down. For a professional watch maker to make such a basic error is shocking. I advised lwr i would like to get a local jewelers to correct the error and seek reimbursement as I didn't want to go through the process of sending the watch off for a second time. Lwr would not accept this and said they would sort the issue after receiving proof via pictures. Lwr have seen the proof and have accepted liability but have made no attempt to send out a pre paid envelope as promised. It's been around 2 weeks now and no envelope or communication. My recommendation is use a better company. Not professional.

One year wasted

This company treats serious customers with contempt. Although Luxury Watch Repairs usually responds to emails they never provide progress reports, only: "I will also chase this up with the relevant team, and I will come back to you as soon as I have a response.." But no further information is sent. I sent LWR my Omega Seamaster a year ago (in Jan 2024). Finally, last November they wrote to me estimating that the service I had asked for would take another 40-50 weeks. On December 3rd I emailed them refusing that offer. They then demanded that I pay £51.60 for "Administration and Postage" before they returned the watch. I paid and it was delivered on January 3rd (another month!), bunged in an envelope, bubblewrapped, without paperwork, and not even signed for. I have written to Omega UK reporting my experience with Luxury Watch Repairs. You might wonder why their Trustpilot score is so high. Look at the reviews and you will see that many of the 5-star reviews are about replacement batteries or watch straps. Reviews about servicing vintage watches are often far less favourable. Not recommended

Time - a valuable commodity

Having had my watch for some years I thought it was time to get a service. I found Luxury Watch Repairs and reviews etc seemed good. I was surprised that the expected time was as long as quoted and indeed it actually took a little longer that what was quoted. The upside is that my watch came back like new. I can’t see what was changed inside but I know that it used to be run fast and although I’ve only had it back a couple of weeks it’s keeping good time now. Handmade or hand done stuff isn’t usually fast and isn’t usually cheap but care taken and pride in it is what makes the difference. You can get a watch that will keep good time for less than the price of a fish & chip takeaway and like the fast food will sustain for a while. Something made for you at a good restaurant will cost more and take time and that’s the difference. If you have a timepiece you value then Luxury Watch Repairs will do a great job if you’re patient and value their craftsmanship

Omega battery replacement

Wonderful service, battery changed within an hour, super polite staff. Luxury watch repairs made my day and got my New Year off to the best of starts. Highly recommended.

Shambolic Communication

Sent my Omega SeaMaster for servicing and new bracelet, along with payment of around £1000, on the 7th June 2024. Still not received my watch back and have had very few updates other than "its moving through the system". Have emailed 3 or 4 times for an update but have had no response. Was quoted 20 weeks, which would have taken me up to end Nov. Will be waiting a few more weeks before i instigate legal advice through CAB as they have my £4000 watch, along with around £1000 of money. this is not acceptable 3/1: Have now responded to you with my details and reference number i recieved from my payment and estimate. I also have proof of postage tracking 8/1: Any chance of a further update on this as per your previous comment? cant even communicate on a review site shows how poorly you are doing! 9/1: contacted luxury watch repairs (I had to call them). Turns out, NOTHING has been done with my watch since June 2024 due to a lack/delay of parts (yes, for a popular omega!). Advised that ‘they’ could send to omega directly to do the service and repair and would be contacted that day to confirm it had been sent….guess what, still nothing!!!! Citizens advice coming…..

I think the communication and time…

I think the communication and time frame was disappointing. My watch repair took 13 months and I believe if it wasn’t for my prompting, the watch would have stayed in a box in the back room.. completely forgot about. Having said that the standard of watch repair was brilliant. Restoring family members. Thank you.
