Top notch customer service!

Sent a vortex red dot in under warranty, within a day of receipt they had contacted me to let me know a replacement was on the way which duly arrived the following day. Absolutely fantastic customer service.

Vortex PST

Had a very slight problem with ret on 6.5 / 7 year old Viper PST, sent to Country Sports with Vortex warranty form. 3 days later a brand new replacement was received in exactly the same spec Superb from "Eddie" and Country Sports. they do treat you like a VIP. Thank you Country Sports.

Eddie in Warranties

Eddie in Warranties was very kind and helpful and worked incredibly quickly. Upon learning about my damaged tripod, he immediately sent me the information I would need to have it returned and worked on. The same day that my tripod arrived at his office, he had already mailed me a new tripod. I'm very satisfied with the entire process. Thank you.

Den besten Service den ich je hatte

Den besten Service den ich je hatte. Ich habe vor 3 Jahren ein Vortex Viper PST in den USA gekauft und nach vielen Schüssen auf meiner .308 win ar10 hat sich leider das Fadenkreuz gelöst und lag um 30 grad verschoben im Zielfernrohr. Sonntags die E-Mail geschrieben, drei Tage später konnte ich es schon nach England zur Begutachtung schicken. Auch hier kam die Rückmeldung nach zwei Tagen mit den Optionen Reparatur oder Austausch gegen ein neues. Habe mich für das neue entschieden und bin jetzt glücklicher Besitzer eines Viper PST 5-25 Gen II. Besten Dank! Austausch gegen neu innerhalb 14 Tage. Bitte macht weiter so!!

The Vortex guarantee is longer a myth

It’s 2009, and a bored, unhappy office worker in London is researching binoculars for a ‘life-changing’ trip to Namibia. It’s her first ever pair, but money is tight, so she is looking for something good quality, but also at a good price. A pair from Vortex catch her eye- the Spitfire 8x32 model. Good value, compact and well-armoured, plus an intriguing, surely-too-good-to-be-true lifetime guarantee. She buys them, thinking they seem to be a solid brand, even if the guarantee is a myth. Through those binoculars the desert unveiled its intimate stories. A gemsbok on a far-off dune turned into a defeated warrior, with one horn and a limp, making his solitary way across the desert. A bird in the distance became a pale chanting goshawk dropping like a stone to feast on a small rodent. In the night, almost at the edge of vision, I watched a black rhino and her calf cautiously slurp from a watering hole, my heart beating like a drum. I’m a wildlife photographer / conservationist now, and my little Spitfires have been to many places with me, revealing the lives of wildlife wherever I go. Over the years they resisted the bumps and jostles from unmade African roads, and even getting dropped in a puddle (although not by me!) However, all those bumps eventually added up to a wonky dioptre adjustment, so I sent them off to Country Sports Wholesale for repair, thinking it’s time to test that guarantee. Sadly, after 12 years the Spitfire model is discontinued and they could not be fixed. To my immense surprise, within a day a brand new pair of 8x32 Diamondbacks showed up on my doorstep! A replacement pair, as per the now not-mythical guarantee. I was surprised at how small and light these binoculars are- they are pretty much pocket size, ideal for travel, and yet have the same strong rubber amour that first attracted me to the Spitfires. I love the rough grip on the sides, although it’s not quite in the right place for where I place my fingers, and the glass is set quite far back in the casing, so I feel like they’d be less likely to scratch if I drop or jostle them. I feel confident they will stand up the rains and dust of Africa when I go back. I tested them on a bright but hazy day by the sea, and was very pleased with their performance. The optics are beautifully clear- I could clearly see boats far out on the horizon- yet with a 5ft minimum focus, I feel like these binoculars would be equally useful looking at bugs on the ground as they would be far-off birds, which is great for me as a generalist wildlife watcher. As much as I will miss my Spitfires, I feel like the Diamondbacks are an honourable replacement, and Vortex and CSW have certainly confirmed a customer for life! Brilliant service.
