Fantastic customer service from Eddie at CSW
Truly couldn't praise Eddie at CSW enough for his fantastic customer service. I first contacted him almost a year ago about servicing my Vortex Diamondback binoculars and his communication remained so helpful and friendly despite multiple delays on my end. When he received my binoculars, Eddie communicated with me throughout the whole process and on my request fixed up and repaired my existing binoculars rather than replacing them which I am incredibly grateful for as my original binoculars are very meaningful and sentimental to me. Eddie went above and beyond to also supply me with new lens caps (my originals broke last year and the only spares I had didn't fit snug) as well as a new case as my existing one was on the way out. His service was incredibly quick (around a week from receiving the binoculars, repairing them and then returning them to me) and he was so friendly and helpful throughout all of our communication. Thank you very much for all of your efforts and time Eddie! It is very much appreciated!

An absolutely brilliant service
An absolutely brilliant service. We sent some Vortex binoculars for a service after we found a small piece missing. Eddie was our contact and made the whole process quick and easy. I really don’t think anything would be too much trouble. The binoculars came back within a week, which is fantastic. We live in the Orkney Islands so things usually take a lot longer to arrive. They were like brand new again and they even included some new neck straps. I really can’t give enough praise for the level of service I received.

My Vortex stopped working so I filled out the warranties form and posted them off to CSW on Friday the 17th of March’23. Monday the 20th received an email from Eddie from warranties stating that he had identified the problem and would request authorisation from Vortex to replace the item with the newest model. Tuesday 21st received another email from Eddie informing me that he has sourced a new replacement from their stock and arranged delivery with DHL and would replenish their stock with the one that would be arriving from Vortex to save time. 10 minutes after receiving Eddies update DHL sent me an email informing me that they were in receipt of the item and we’re arranging delivery date and time. Excellent customer service from Eddie who is a great asset for the company, great experience to actually deal with an organisation that keeps the customer updated with the process and the communication is 1st class service.

First class service from Eddie at CSW. I posted the binoculars in on Friday and got an email from Eddie on the Tuesday to say he had them. Another on Thursday to update me and tell me he was posting them back fully repaired via DHL. I received the binoculars back on Friday fully repaired and cleaned up as good as new. No fuss no questions just first class service. I have previously sent a Vortex monocular to Eddie which he replaced without any question. The Vortex promise is as good as claimed and backed by exceptional service by Eddie at CSW.
Lifetime Warranty and Excepcional customer service
My boyfriend gifted me a pair of Vortex binoculars a few years ago (6 to be precise!) and they have been indispensable on our yearly wildlife trips. Unfortunately with use, the rubber of the eyecups started falling out (we had to constantly put it back on) and on our last trip the focus ring also fell off and we just couldn’t put it back on as something probably broke. That’s when my boyfriend mentioned that Vortex binoculars come with a lifetime warranty and that we should be able to send it to them for fixing. For some reason I couldn’t find a UK contact on their website, so I spoke with someone on their US chat and they took all my details and said someone from the UK would get in touch about this. I have to say I wasn’t sure what to expect. So I was pleasantly surprised when someone reached out to me the very next day. I got updates from the moment the binoculars reached them and the whole process was under a week (from receipt on their side, to fixing, to being back in my possession). The fixing itself only took a day. To say that I am impressed is an understatement as these days finding excellent customer service is quite rare in my experience. I can only thank Eddie at warranties for my excepcional experience. I couldn’t be happier that I can continue to use my binoculars for years to come and didn’t have to throw them away, as it is common these days with our throw away culture. Well done Vortex for doing your part in not contributing to our wasteful culture, I can’t recommend the brand enough!
Had to send my UH-1 Gen 2 holographic…
Had to send my UH-1 Gen 2 holographic sight under warranty as it was suffering from phantom battery drain. CSW recognised that a firmware update was needed, did the work and sent it back in a very fast turnaround. Excellent service.
