Disappointment soon faded

Disappointment soon faded after opening the box to discover there was no battery. However a phone call later to Genpower and speaking to Peter Whuartohe who was most helpful a new one has now been dispatched via RM24 I bought the strimmer after buying a mower a month ago Order number: 22-09943-35116 I'm now converted to the convenience of battery power.

Great choice!!!

The mower is excellent. I have only used it once so far but it does everything as expected. It seems very well put together and I wish I’d purchased a petrol mower years ago. Value for money and so far so good.

Great delivery service and the lawnmower is awesome

Great Delivery Service and the lawnmower is absolutely awesome - never thought I could get excited about a lawnmower, but Hyundai lawnmower is the best I have ever had. The front wheels that can be switched from static to castor wheels is an absolute joy, makes my awkward shaped lawn a breeze to mow - and this is the first petrol mower I have had with electric start... will never go back to ripcord (unless the battery goes flat).

Not worth the hassle - won’t refund faulty items

I purchased a lawn mower from Gen Power on the 4th April, only to find it to be faulty and not fit for purpose. I let them know of the issue and requested a refund a few days later, which I thought would be a simple process. Unfortunately, I have now arranged collection with Gen Power four times and they are refusing to refund me my money until the item is collected. All three times, their chosen courier has failed to collect the lawn mower. They are now breaking my consumer rights and could not care less about the inconvenience. My elderly mother has had to wait in three times for the parcel to be collected now and this has been a complete waste of her time. Disappointing service and more hassle than it’s worth. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I will now have to go through all the faff of taking this higher and going down the legal route.

Cannot recommend

Self propelled much to fast. They are aware of this. Not very good at cutting edge of lawn. Battery run out 15 mins, when using self propelled.After sales appear good. Would i recommend afraid not.A honest review .Used 4 times

I had a small problem in tracing 1 of 2 items ordered, no fault of Genpower though, which Jade successfully sorted out for me. The goods were dispatched promptly and their prices are good.

Chain constantly slackens

Chain constantly slackens. Tech is very reasonably priced and all round the item is great. The problem is the chain slackens so fast you can only use the item for seconds to a minute or so before the chain is slack again. I'm familiar with chainsaw operations and carefully and meticulously re-tensioned the chain, however this was an issue that makes the item almost entirely useless.

Great service from Sanjana at Genpower.

Great service. I bought an air compressor and the air filter arrived damaged. Sanjana was very helpful and after sending some photos with serial and proof of purchase, Sanjana arranged for a replacement to be sent out. This replacement arrived in good condition and now I'm able to use the air compressor. Great customer service, thanks!
