Excellent company, very good range of products. Fast and efficient

Four 2TB hard-drives ordered, four received but one faulty on arrival. Packaged and awaiting return to Span but because I'm non-UK I've beeen told that I must pay return shipping costs for the faulty and replacement drives. No mention of this in T&C's despite claims to service international orders. UPDATE The tone of the first response from Span below is disappointing. I only left a 2-star review because after days of back and forth polite emails these led nowhere. Nowhere does Span state that international customers (in fact any customer) have to pay for return shipping costs. My original post is not misleading or untrue. Fact: Span has told me that I must organise and pay for return of the drive (true - since leaving the review they offered me £10 towards the cost as a refund) Fact: Span also told me that they would endeavour to pay the replacement shipping, then they said I'd have to pay it, then they offered to part pay it and in their response to the review they say they'll pay the whole lot... confused? Me too! All this time, the faulty drive supplied by Span is boxed securely as per their website's instructions and awaits collection and replacement. This should be easy for a company that values its customers. Or maybe the £2,000+ that I've spent with them in recent years doesn't count for much!

The choice between Synology and Qnap was made easier with the SPAN videos. It's a pity the Qnap software is poor.
